Last night was not the first time we had went to eat at Fogo Indy but it was the first time that I really felt the need to not even give one star. My husband and I made reservations because we needed to be in an upbeat environment after such a long week. After working 13 hours, my husband and I left town with ample time to get to our reservation but traffic was awful. I called twice to make sure they could push us back to our reservation to be the last time they could do a reservation. Upon arriving, the valet guys were gone, it was close to closing in our the reservation gap, so he dropped me off and parked in the garage. When I went inside, there were two hostesses. One was on her cell phone who shewed me away. The other was entirely rude telling me we didn't have reservations and that there was no table for us when I clearly saw a number of them. After a few minutes of her telling me to leave, when I was there before 1030, she went to a waitress who then seated us and huffed away. The girl who was supposed to be our waitress then came over and was trying to be nice and took our drink order. We proceeded to the market table for our sides and turned the coaster to green. Then we waited. And, waited. We waited 15 minutes before the first person came to our table. So we kindly said we would try something different. At that point our warm sides, we're still not there. Our rolls were freezing cold. We then waited and waited for someone else. Meanwhile another server saw some of our frustration and said something to ours. Our waitress brought some mashed potatoes--which wasn't even a tablespoon per person. And the other sides. And left. By that point we needed a refill on our drink because we were anxiously waiting for better service or a manager to walk by. I then walked over to a server asking if it would be possible to get some parmesan pork and some lamb. (Which is why we thought of fogo to begin with for dinner). We then had a couple round of people come to our table. Then the person brought the pork out. It was charred to where you couldn't cut it with a knife. I personally do not eat pork but my husband couldn't even eat it. My lamb was Good. We thought they would bring us more mashed potatoes and rolls and meat but they did not. Eventually a kind server came by and asked what was wrong. By that point, I was ready to get up and leave. And while I was going to shake it off and not unload on the meat server, I was instantly infuriated because the supposed to be our waitress gave the hostess that was rude to us a high five. While I understand it was devour weekend, it was also a holiday and a time that my husband and I needed to get thru with as little grieving as possible as a year ago we went through a hardship and he wanted us to go to cheer us up. After we told the server, he made sure to get us a new waitress- Sydney. And she was nice to get us more mashed potatoes (which actually had a serving and we're not cold) and they brought us some meat. They brought back parmesan pork the was edible and finally refilled our drinks. By that point with the drive home and the service overall, I was ready to leave. It took 29 minutes to get our check. They brought us dessert in a box. Other tables had bags, and they said they were out. But after they brought ours out I saw a table across the floor get theirs bagged up. I waited a good 15 minutes for the waitress to come get our money, so we could drive the 2 hours home. I was glad I had exact cash because I just had to leave. I could bear to leave a tip to a place that treated us so badly and forgot about us. I am NEVER going back unless this is made right.

My wife and I love this place! I most recently took her there for her birthday and it was well suited for the occasion. You can also go for a more casual event if you'd like. Not a hyper casual place though. For the two of us it cost a little over $100, but for what you get that truly is a bargain. Fantastic Place top to bottom, wonderful food. The food quality is top-notch, a single helping of what you get here could easily cost $50 at a comparable restaurant. Hands down our favorite restaurant ever, and we have been to Lou Malnati's!

The food was excellent. Service is 5 star. They should warn you about how hot the hot sauce is before hand. It's great but fire!

First time in a Brazilian Steakhouse for me... It was an, it was a revelation...a carnivorous awakening. OMG was it goooooood! My mouth is watering thinking back to this night of meat feasting. If you are a vegetarian...just skip the reviews for this restaurant and look elsewhere. However, if you love meat, this is a must try life experience. This is semi formal dining (business casual) or more formal if you prefer. Their wine selection was extensive numbering in the hundreds of labels. Plan on at least three hours to fully engage yourself. Take your time and enjoy! You will want more, I promise...

My husband and I went out for dinner Saturday night. Our experience was amazing from the start. Even though it did take about 15 minutes for us to get seated. We clearly understood that it was devour downtown so it means waiting a little. Our server Alexis did an amazing job, she was very charming and attentive. She stopped by the table to check up on us very often. We did have a request on filet mignon that seemed to be taking forever, one of the managers I believe his name was Roberto took care of that small problem and got it to our table right away. I didn't get a chance to take our server because when we left it was extremely busy, but THANK YOU TO BOTH ALEXIS AND ROBERTO. It was our first time at fogo and we are defiantly going back soon. I can't wait to go back and enjoy all that delicious food!! THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is amazing! I would describe this place as an upscale buffet. Their salad bar is the best I have been to in Indy. However, he most memorable thing here is their meats, They bring you different types of steaks to choose from. Don't pass up the lamb leg!

The food is wonderful, and the staff is very attentive. The manager, hostess, and servers were all very pleasant, and all made sure that our experience was wonderful! It is expensive, but it is definitely worth it.
