We are an authentic Churrascaria (Brazilian Steakhouse) from Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil which features superior service, unrivaled cuisine and a unique dining experience.

You will be pampered by our authentic Gaucho chefs who come to your tableside to carve a variety of succulent meats right off their skewers.  Our featured meats have been slow-roasted over an open flame and lightly seasoned to preserve the unique taste of each tender cut.

Adding to our unique dining experience, you will be treated to a sumptuous, gourmet salad and vegetable bar featuring over 30 items including imported cheeses, cured meats, fresh vegetables and more.  We complement your meal with traditional Brazilian side dishes such as caramelized bananas, crispy polenta, seasoned mashed potatoes and our world-famous cheese bread (pao de queijo).

No meal is complete without trying a refreshing caipirinha, something from our award-winning wine list or one of our decadent desserts.

I read the reviews and was impressed that so many rated Fogo so highly. I was looking for a new restaurant to take my wife of 34 years on our anniversary, so after reading so many positive reviews I decided to give Fogo a try. I made my reservation for 1/9/16 via their website on a Monday and waited for that Saturday to come. In the meantime everyone who had been to Fogo and had asked where I was taking my wife on anniversary assured me we would be thoroughly happy with the experience as well as the food. The food was good. But the experience leaves something to be desired. For one, the open dining area makes for a very noisy and less than romantic evening. Fogo caters to very large parties who are loud and usually drinking heavily, so they can be boisterous. Secondly, pictures of the salad bar online are deceiving. The salad bar is large but the choices are limited and nowhere near like their website portrays. We were told there were sweet potatoes by the bar - nope. Much of the rice and beans were gone and no one replenished it while we were there (about 90 mins). Next, there is supposed to be people coming around to you with different meat choices on a regular basis so you never have to wait. My card was turned up on the table indicating I was ready for more. I waited several minutes while I watched other servers nearby cutting meat and serving other tables (usually ones with large groups). I didn't like waiting on my food when what I wanted was clearly nearby. One guy actually walked right passed our table and didn't stop, and he had what I wanted- lamb. I never did get lamb after the first server dropped it off. I never saw the guy with lamb again. Our server girl initially introduced herself and had a memorized speech that I assume was designed to explain the whole Fogo de Chao dining process, except she had such a soft voice and thick Brazilian accent that we could not make out what she was saying. The two hostesses were rude and the restrooms needed serious attention. Our reservation was for 6:00 pm and we waited 30 minutes to be seated. Like the guy below says "This is not Outback with call ahead seating, it's a real restaurant with real reservations...honor them!" We left after we paid our bill only to discover we had not used the $25 anniversary gift certificate our children had purchased for us. We went back in to get an adjustment since we won't be returning and had now overpaid $25. Took them almost 30 minutes to.fix the bill, but to their credit the DID fix it. The website also deceives one into thinking the seafood is also an all you can eat experience. But don't be fooled, it is not. They do have a good Chilean sea bass, but the seafood choices are limited and are all a la cart. When I booked our reservation it asked me if we were there for a special occasion. I indicated it was for a special 34 year wedding anniversary. Most places I've been to in the past ask this so they can be sure to give you extra attention or do something special like a small complimentary dessert at the end of the meal. We got NOTHING, NADA, ZIP, ZILCH. Overall - It's a very nice place, and the food is mostly hot and tasty, but for $47 a plate plus drinks and desserts, there are much better options nearby.

I'm cheating because I've never actually eaten at Fogo de Chao… Yet. In this case "yet" means I will be eating here in mid-January; and I can't wait. I've gone ahead and given it 5-stars based on the unbiased, informal reviews of nine family members and friends who actually have eaten at the Indianapolis Fogo de Chao. I'm also giving it the full complement of stars because they undoubtedly had me in mind while developing the concept for this chain. All the meat you can eat? Are you kidding me? AND a big ol' salad bar? Are you kidding me? They know. They know, I'm telling you; they somehow know that's all I've ever wanted in a restaurant. I've dreamed of this all my life — and in a little over a month, I get to live it! (Oh, and my vegetarian bride will accompany me.) Thank you Fogo de Chao.

Believe the hype. Outstanding salad bar, incredible meat offerings, and terrific service. It's a MUCH better value if you go at lunch, but they do everything so well that it's hard to complain about the regular price too much.

My wife, son and myself went on the advice of friends and enjoyed every moment of our experience. Tim the maître d' was refreshing polite, helpful and elevated our experience to a five star rate. Entire staff was quick, courteous and waited on us literally hand and foot. Salad bar was fresh and with items you would rarely see, but was told by friends to stay lean on it as the meat is exceptional and plentiful. We recommend this now as well and will be using it as one of our date night favorites.

Your typical churrasqueria brazilian stakehouse with an exceptional salad bar, drinks and of course steak. It is recommended for large groups, the atmosphere is great and the food is incredible. If you dont get out feeling sorry that you ate a house you are just doing it wrong.

What can I say, it's all you can eat meat; how much better could it get?! Very nice location but the salad bar isn't as extensive as other locations. Nice wine selection with a few options that are reasonably priced. Service was very good.
