Android app developers can now download a new 64-bit Android L emulator image from Google, but there's a big catch: It will only work on x86 Intel-based processors. #android

Today was a bad day. Switched from Dalvik runtime to ART on my moto g and it just went into bootloop. And not being close to my desktop, laptop, internet connection and spare phone made it worse. It was unusable for 10 hours until I had access to my laptop. So main aim for this post is, ART is still in beta stage, don't mess around with it. I learnt it the hard way. And don't switch to ART from Dalvik if you are not sure, if all the apps on your phone are compatible with ART. Today I had a situation because Dash clock had some problem while my phone was upgrading. It just made my android.system.ui crash, hence no homescreen. You can just stare and your lockscreen and feel helpless, because as soon as you try to insert a pin, it would crash my phone and go into bootloop, which stopped after couple of times and again bring you back to lockscreen and cycle goes on and on. That helpless person was me today.
