San Francisco
I am a local and stumbled upon this place as a great place to watch the games because they have 2 big TV's in the bar area which is always empty. For the last month I have become the places only local regular. Well the last time I came I threw down $35 for a dinner and a beer (its expensive for the quality) and then as always, went to the front desk to get my parking ticket validated. (it says on parking lot sign 2 hours free parking with validation from lounge or restaurant). The guy working at the front desk who says he is the manager says they do not validate for the lounge. I say I have eaten here 6 times and they always validate and it says on the sign they validate. He says well that's now changed. I get upset and say well go out and look at the sign it says you validate. He says do you have a receipt? Just then the bartender happens to walk up. I say ask him. The bartender says yes he ate here and eats here all the time. The manager says he will validate this one time but in the future they cant. Well I say then you better take down the sign because that's called false advertisement and as a manager he should know better than take a way a service and leave it on the sign. He says well how much did you spend, we have a minimum of how much you spend before we validate...let me see your receipt. I say ask the bartender this is just crazy. So he finally validates my ticket, and now I finally understand why this nice little loungs with 2 big screens is always empty. No local should come wont get the 2 hour parking they promise on the sign.
