I bought a fruit basket in to work as a change from all of the doughnuts. It has morphed into a team fruit share. It's been going strong for a few weeks now.

I have to admit this is rather interesting.

It rained here in Las Vegas for two days. Since moving to Las Vegas, I definitely have a different perspective on rain. It previously had a fresh scent everywhere else that I've lived. In Las Vegas, the rain just amplifies the smell of the sand and rocks. Rain now also means flash floods, blocked streets, and car accidents. Of course, this was just a gentle rain and downpour like in our monsoon season.

People have been curious. Where am I? Am I still around? What am I up to? What happened to my social media accounts?

The short answer: Yes, I'm still in Las Vegas. I've been doing what I've always been doing. I just haven't been online.

The TLDR answer: Almost two years ago, I got really bored with my social media feeds. I found that I was in a rut. I wasn't being exposed to anything new in my feeds, and I didn't even like my own content. I was just tired of looking at them so I did what some people might call excessive or drastic. I deleted all of my posts, I unfollowed everyone, and I temporarily blocked all of my followers. I even dropped +Peter G McDermott (with nearly half a million followers), +Martial Arts with Colman (who posts links to very interesting martial arts content), and +Carlo Misiak (who posts lots of really cool photos). Nothing in, nothing out. I even avoided starting up my laptop at home unless I had work to do.

I did a lot of things during those 20 months, but almost none of it was online. About two months ago, I got back online and started poking around a bit. I've been doing a lot of manual searches about my interests of the day. I just around quite a bit. Sometimes it's tai chi or python coding. Other times, it's motorcycles and AI automation. Will I post more? Well, I do have 20 months of life experiences for post topics. I don't quite know where to start, but now that I'm curating my interests more closely, I'm sure that I have some post-worthy topics.
