Hehee - thanks Google! Another interactive Google Doodle!! Hours of fun for all the family! It's a Gumby Doodle! Click on the wee clay balls and they morph into cute jumping figures. Lol! Honoring Art Clokey, pioneer of clay motion - Oct 12th would've been his 90th birthday. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_Clokey

More info at: http://searchenginewatch.com/article/2116458/Google-Gumby-Logo-Honors-Art-Clokeys-90th-Birthday

I used Snagit to take these screenshots after about three attempts to get the figures all morphed out of their clay balls! haha!

My FAVE is still PacMan - that was the BEST!!! Did you know it's still available to play: http://www.google.com/pacman/ (UHOH!! Bookmark for a Friday. hehee)

Things that make you go whoooops...
Let this be a lesson to those of you who might, one day, need to tow an errant Lexus ES 300 out of a river for a Russian-speaking friend: be very careful about your attachment points for the tow strap...

"Women's top five information sources for researching a car purchase were car dealership visits (65%), word of mouth (56%), car review websites (53%), auto manufacturer websites (43%), and blogs (31%). Other sources, such as auto magazines (21%), Facebook (17%), and TV advertising (16%), lagged significantly behind."

I wonder if paying $8,500+ really constitute as "free" advertising on Google Maps? Would make for a more visual aerial view for sure, though...

Five stars isn't enough for the service I received and the experience that we encountered. My dog had a noticeable change in behavior, wasn't eating, and had issues vomiting. When I took her to Wilson's in Washington Township, they did an ultrasound on her and found a mass on her liver. They told me my only option was surgery to remove it (that a biopsy and aspirate weren't possible), and that they would possibly have to remove her gallbladder also but that they wouldn't know until they had her opened up, and they scheduled her surgery for a week later. In the meantime, I got a second opinion at BluePearl in Macomb with Dr. Pearson. Her interpretation of the mass was different and considered it "unremarkable" and as just being hyperplasia. She did do an aspirate (which supposedly wasn't an option at the other vet) to ease my fear of the mass being malignant, and the results came back showing it to be benign. She put her on a liver and gallbladder medication and within two weeks, a follow up ultrasound showed that the mass has already decreased in size (half the size it was) and her bloodwork is all completely back to normal. While a definite diagnosis of it is still uncertain, she's thinking it could have been acute inflammation. I am SOOOO SO happy that I went for a second opinion instead of jumping right to slicing my girl open. Dr. Pearson and April took as much time as was needed to address all of my questions and concerns to help me fully understand the ultrasound visuals, results, and their feedback, and they treated my dog as if she were their own. My dog normally shakes profusely when going to get groomed or going to the vet--and we've been to BluePearl now three or four times, and her tail wags whenever we go in there. You can feel the difference, and you can clearly see the difference as well. Thank you to the entire team for welcoming us and helping us put this episode behind us and getting our perky spunky girl back to her normal self!

I don't typically take time to share thoughts regarding an experience I had at a business establishment, but the service I received today warranted an acknowledgement. I was assisted by a worker named Joanne in Customer Service. She spent an abnormally long amount of time trying to help me resolve a return issue (that was my fault) and I was fully expecting to be told there was nothing they could do. She worked on helping for about 15 minutes in the store, and then took my name and phone number to call me with an update when one was available so I didn't have to wait. She called about 15 minutes after I left the store with a solution that was above and beyond my expectations. The service I received today is rare and should absolutely be commended. I have been a long-time Kohl's customer already, and this certainly further enhanced my perception and made me feel quite valued as a customer. Thank you again to Joanne, and I hope she's just as appreciated by the Kohl's team. :)
