The Plasticity of your brain. Steve Jobs talked about it, the best educators understand it, and it's a powerful fact rarely talked about. The fact of the matter is you can learn new things and change the makeup of your brain well into the later years in your life. The “plasticity” of your brain ...

Welcome back to another exciting season of #SocialTV. With your hosts Greg Moore and Jeph Maystruck. A couple years ago at Access Communications for channel 7, Greg and Jeph hosted a show together called “Social TV”, the show about local social media stories. We had a riot!

The hard thing isn't usually what you think it is. In the entrepreneurial journey there are a lot of emotions, life gets down right shitty some days. There is hope though. You're on a journey only the greatest minds of our world start out on. A journey that most won't try make.

If you were Seth Godin you would say it needs to be remarkable! You know, your “Purple Cow” idea that will spread like wildfire. You need a big hairy audacious goal. If you were Jim Collins' you'd start with a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG). Cities like Las Vegas, Austin, Amsterdam, Paris, ...

Trying to see peoples' points of view isn't something that comes natural to humans. As we've evolved, the softer skills in life have become much more important to our survival than the hard skills (fight or flight) as of the last hundred years. In business it's even more rare.

Think you need a marketing strategy? Think again...
Why You don't Need a Marketing Strategy. How many small startups have a marketing strategy? I'd venture a guess as very few. No I don't mean a “marketing plan” I mean an actual strategy with tactics, objectives, and intended outcomes. Rarely do startups care about marketing because if you have ...

On being different...
Being Different Doesn't Mean Being Goofy. It's bothered me for a while now. I give people my business card or a lottery ticket, they smile and the first thing they say is, “Oh we can't be goofy like that!!” Well no $!%& Sherlock!! I don't expect you to outright copy what we do, it's the thought ...

We had a really intense discussion in our office the other day and the question was asked, what do you do when you have a bad day? (Other than play that catchy Daniel Powter song by the same name). We had varied answers but what was interesting was that everyone could relate, everyone has bad ...

No one loves a business, people love people. Dont' be afraid to hug your customers every now and then.
Introduction
I had an above average mustache, I really did.  I love marketing, books, tennis, snowboarding, blogging, golf, cooking, wine making, love spreading, smile bringing, Twitter loving, friend making, hockey, coaching volleyball.
And that's all I have to say about that.

Stayed here for 4 days recently. AMAZING location, two blocks from Rembrandt Square, cafes literally next door and a beautiful view of the canals. The location is the best, the room was so cute! The only thing you have to worry about it getting up and down those stairs!! That's not just Seven Bridges though, every place in Amsterdam has tiny staircases. Highly recommend!!!! Jeph

Creative Options Regina is one of the most fun loving, amazing businesses I've ever come across. The staff are passion capitalists, they love helping people. The culture around COR is all about people, a culture of gentleness really. If you have a chance to meet someone, work with, or interact at ALL with, do it. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for being awesome COR!

These guys were great!! We rented a sound system for my parens 40th, everything worked without a hitch. They're friendly, the equipment was great (even when we thought a chord was missing they gave me another, it wasn't missing, we didn't look in the pocket, oops). You can trust these guys, they're awesome!

I've gone here for several years now, recently I upgraded and tried a steak, all I can say is they know how to cook a steak! Well worth it. We go there often for lunch meetings, secretly I love their blue cheese burger, they do it up with all the fixings, and their own home made hamburger patty's. I can't think about it without getting hungry.
