We recently purchased our Lance Camper from Rocky Mountain and was very pleased with their service and attention to detail from the time we made our decision, changed our mind, setting up our truck for the camper, and follow up after we left. Salesman. Al Ramsey, was great to work with and kept us up to date on the process of getting our camper ready for pickup on the scheduled date. Auggie, in service, noticed the work order was a camper that required the jacks for a dual wheeled truck; therefore, they contacted us in regards to installing those jacks. I realized after the purchase and once we got home (we live 220 miles away), that we didn't receive our purchase receipt. I contacted Andrew and he got the receipt sent to be right away. I would highly recommend Rocky Mountain RV. So much better to work with than our local dealer in Durango, CO

We had our RV in for generator repairs. When we came to pick it up, we checked to see if it worked properly. In so doing, we found that a solenoid failed (by coincidence). Though it was late on a Saturday afternoon, the service crew (Will and Derek) worked to replace this part and fix a few other issues that "popped up." Derek even stayed while off the clock to meet us for the final pickup and ensure everything worked properly. This was especially appreciated because we traveled 100 miles (from Los Alamos) to pick this up in the late afternoon of a Saturday. Thanks Derek and Will - and thanks Rocky Mountain RV & Marine!

Aside from the no call back just as others stated, we went 2 times, once quoted on a pickup camper...same camper 4K less elsewhere (out of town...but for 4k.. i can travel). We recently went to get a quote for electronic jacks...$1300 higher. I won't even call there any more..and they are the "only show in town" for a pickup camper.

Hi Chris, We appreciate your feedback. Customers often shop online to save money but then discover that their local dealer might not perform Warranty Repairs because the RV was purchased elsewhere. Dealers are also reluctant to put an out-of-area unit ahead of customers who purchased from them. We find that internet shoppers don't necessarily do a side by side check of all the features and extras included. For example, it could have been that our camper had a larger BTU air conditioner and/or heater installed. Where we live, we understand the importance of being able to stay warm and cool! Many truck campers are used for hunting which requires a good heater. I cannot comment on the electric jacks because I do not know the circumstances. However, I would be happy to discuss the situation with you if you would like to give me a call. Terry Roberts General Manager 505-292-7800

Jayne is the best. She always communicates the process whenever you have your rig in for service. Great customer service!

We have been customers at Rocky Mountain RV since 1992. We have purchased a pop-up camper, a boat and two travel trailers over those years. We have always found the service department exceedingly helpful and always pleasant. They are highly responsive when we have questions or problems. We have dealt specifically with the two Janes. They both rock! We have recently worked with Will and he got our trailer right in and out almost the next day. Exceedingly happy with this company.

Very helpful. It was Labor Day weekend and we needed something checked to make sure our RV was safe to drive. They not only fit us in, they checked it for no charge and we were in our way. Great friendly service here!

Thank you Steven, I hope you had a great trip.

Worst customer service when buying a boat. Salesman (Gary)told me he would call me back but never did, I had to call him. Then he said he would call me first thing the next morning and again I had to call him, oh and I was told he was off that day. How do you tell someone you will call him if you know your going to be off. I do not recommend doing business with these people if your trying to buy a boat. and to think of it, He told me he was the top salesman.

I don't know what has happened to this place but they have turned into total rip offs , we have been going here for years. We will not be going back. They charged 2 hrs $135 per hour to install a regulator for my propane tanks. I sat outside and watched the repair guy do it in 15 min. Nichol use to handle our repairs and always made sure the techs got the job done and on time, I never felt like we were being ripped off. I believe the new guys name is Will, watch your pocket books with this guy and get any quotes in writing if you don't take this warning to not use Rocky Mountain RV.

Carol, please accept my apologies for the poor experience you’ve recently had with our dealership. I would like to investigate your work order and correct your account. Please give me a call, Terry Roberts General Manager 505-292-7800. We have been experiencing growing pains this year that caught us off guard and unfortunately we weren’t able to isolate that pain from our customers. We have been aggressively addressing these shortcomings and should be back to the 5 STAR dealership you deserve in the very near future.
