Have you heard about the WhiteWater Retro Travel Trailers?  These are very light weight and can easily be pulled with smaller vehicles.  Three of the models weigh under 2000 lbs.  One you can put in a standard garage!

Chuck Blanton is our hero because he rescued us from being stranded in Albuquerque on July 14, 2015; we were left without the means to repair our 5th wheel; we were helpless, abandoned and in dire difficulties. All of this because our slide-out system failed again, this time a long way from Katy, Texas. Our Montana is new. Twice we had been camping and both times the slide-out system failed. Fortunately we were close to home and the Holiday World technicians worked on it but we know now they failed to mend it. We pulled into the parking lot of Rocky Mountain RV and Marine and was met by Nichole an energetic, genial and warm young lady. She helped us unload our unit and promised to get it in for repairs so that we could get on our way. We came back later in the day, and that is when we met our hero. Chuck is a young man that is pleasant, friendly, easy to like and easy to talk to. He did not approach our system failure as others had done in Texas but as one skilled and well read in the system, capable of taking the mess of wires and pulleys and holes in the wall and contrive them into a form and shape of efficacy, thereby achieving their desired and intended result. Chuck showed extensive sophistication in the system and could easily be the prime engineer or lead designer for slide-out systems. We are grateful for him and as we look back on the episode, grateful that the system failed in Albuquerque. Had it not, we may never had the system restored to its intended purpose. If you are wondering why we took so long to write this email, it is because we were lied to before and we wanted to make sure Chuck had put it right. He shared with us before we went back on the road what he had done, how he had done it and said this before we left, “you will not have anymore trouble with the slide-out.” He was right. Our trip went without a hitch. As for Chuck add honor and honesty to his characteristics. He is an outstanding achiever and a tribute to your staff. Thank you Chuck Blanton for allowing us to take the trip we had planned for a long time. God Bless You.

Sales person did not write down the correct rv orientation date that we had agreed on, so when my husband and myself showed up, the rv was not ready. The one extra star is for the guys in the back that worked hard to get our rv ready by the afternoon. The rv was advertized as having a backup camera, we were told that they would get it working by the time we picked it up which would be after we paid for it...but when we picked it up, there was no backup camera. We just wanted to leave, so we left it at that. Lesson learned, double check everything you get from there and call ahead to confirm everything.

We originally chose Rocky Mountains RV because they were a Blue Ox dealer in the Albuquerque area. We were looking to outfit our RV with a tow bar and get a baseplate installed on our Kia. This was the second time we tried to get this set up because the first place we took our vehicles to told us that it couldn't be done. The service department at Rocky Mountain made it happen! They had no problem working with us to make minor modifications to the car to get the baseplate installed properly and safely. When it was all done, the walked us through how to hook up the equipment and made sure that we good to go. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and, all in all, I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and I will be happy to bring my rig back to them again in the future.

Took my Travel Trailer to have some warranty work done and three weeks later I came out with a $230 bill including one hour of work not covered under warranty because they couldn't find the problem. My bath is unlevel and causes water to run onto floor and their fix was about a 1/4" of silicone to keep the water from dripping. Asked them to replace a hubcap ($20) that had fallen off during our last trip and they charged $91 in labor for supposedly repacking the bearing in the exposed hub. Anyone knows that a hubcap does not protect the hub bearing, but they tried to convince me otherwise. It took an argument with the Service Manager, who tried to manipulate my words, to get the charge dropped. I can't imagine how many people they get over on like this, but get away with it. Beware! All the plaques and awards and especially the Ethical code on their wall is for show. They will get no more of my business.

Rocky Mountain RV and Marine in Albuquerque is the BEST! We recently took our new Winnebago to them for several problems we had with the Satellite system that the dealer we purchased our new RV from, (Camperworld Longmont, Colorado) could not (would not) fix. Rocky Mountain RV identified the problem, fixed it and called Winnebago and got all the work covered under warranty. They have restored my faith that there are GOOD RV service companies out there. I highly recommend these guys!

Recently bought an end of year model Winnebago travel trailer. Great deal, Richard Kerwin was great to work with. Just came back from our first excursion to Sedona and it was great. Nice pull, everything worked great, better than we could have hoped. Our sales experience was great, Travis (financial), Dave (vehicle operation run-through) easy to work with, quick deal form start to finish and (Dave) walking us through all the idiosyncrasies of our new trailer prior to pulling out of the lot. Oh forgot to mention, life-time warranty . . . . . if you are in the market I would highly recommend you check out Rocky Mountain RV on Central avenue in ABQ.

On a recent trip from California to Texas we were travelling through New Mexico and experienced a problem with our air conditioner on our 5th wheel at the KOA campground in Albuquerque. So after searching the Internet for an RV service provider, we discovered that an RV dealer was just across the street, so we drove over to Rocky Mountain RV. You would have thought we had bought our 5th wheel from them by the way they treated us. The ladies at the service desk were very helpful and they asked us to wait in their customer lounge while they dispatched a service technician to evaluate & solve our problem. By chance the part that was giving us problems in our thermostat was in stock in their parts department. They got us back on the road in just a couple of hours. We were VERY impressed with their attitude and dedication to customer service, plus they are very nice people to deal with.
