Have you heard about the WhiteWater Retro Travel Trailers?  These are very light weight and can easily be pulled with smaller vehicles.  Three of the models weigh under 2000 lbs.  One you can put in a standard garage!

On a recent trip from California to Texas we were travelling through New Mexico and experienced a problem with our air conditioner on our 5th wheel at the KOA campground in Albuquerque. So after searching the Internet for an RV service provider, we discovered that an RV dealer was just across the street, so we drove over to Rocky Mountain RV. You would have thought we had bought our 5th wheel from them by the way they treated us. The ladies at the service desk were very helpful and they asked us to wait in their customer lounge while they dispatched a service technician to evaluate & solve our problem. By chance the part that was giving us problems in our thermostat was in stock in their parts department. They got us back on the road in just a couple of hours. We were VERY impressed with their attitude and dedication to customer service, plus they are very nice people to deal with.

Recently we were vacationing in an RV park in New Mexico when we noticed a strange squeaking sound coming from our front wheel on our motor home. The park manager suggested that we take it to Rocky Mountain RV & Marine in Albuquerque to have it checked out. When we got there it was late in the day so the service lady asked us if we could wait until in the morning for them to check it out. She was very confident that it wasn’t serious and asked us to bring it back at 7:30 the next morning to have it evaluated. When we went in the next day they were ready for us and after a brief investigation, they discovered that it was just a brake pad that needed adjusting. After just 1.5 hours from the time we arrived we were back on the road. I would definitely recommend this dealership for any maintenance problem you have. Their service department is #1!

Wow, super people! We drove down to Albuquerque to shop around for a pontoon boat. When we went to Rocky Mountain RV & Marine, everybody we met was really nice. They were very kind and they treated us with respect. Good business to deal with!

Over the last few months we have had occasion to bring our 2010 Lance model 992 camper in for warranty/service work three times. The first time was in mid July. When cleaning up the camper after a trip I realized that the microwave was falling oout of the cabinet. I called and spoke to Bob Franklin, we brought it in and the mocrowave was properly installed while my wife and I went for a walk. This was covered under warranty as the installation was determined to be incorrect at the factory. The next time I discovered that the generator would not start. I spoke to Wes Hedlund who asked me to check a few items and call him back. The problem was witht he propane regulator and the next day they repaired this and it was covered by Lance again. Next, we decided to install solar panels which Ernest Marquez assisted us with. Ernest quoted us a very fair price, the work was accomplished in a timely amnner and completed a day sooner than originally quoted. I am sure that it is a pain in the butt for the ladies at the service deskt o have me call constantly with "when will it be done?" inquiries. While we were very pleased with your sales staff when buying the camper, the shining light of your organization is the service / parts department. The three ladies at the service des, Jane, Emilie and Mary, do a tremendous job and are always pleasant to deal with. Youir service and assistant service managers, Bob and Wes, make the time to answer my questions and return pnone calls promptly. We have never et the people in the back that get things done and fulfill the managers' promises; they are to be commended for a job well done!

I have been trying for quite some time to locate a part for my old Layton travel trailer. When I found out that Rocky Mountain RV & Marine in Albuquerque sold Laytons, I emailed their parts department with my request. A guy named Jarrid answered my email and later that day he informed me that they actually had the part I needed IN STOCK! Four days later it came in the mail. They were very helpful, and if I ever need another part, I’ll contact them first.

Took my Travel Trailer to have some warranty work done and three weeks later I came out with a $230 bill including one hour of work not covered under warranty because they couldn't find the problem. My bath is unlevel and causes water to run onto floor and their fix was about a 1/4" of silicone to keep the water from dripping. Asked them to replace a hubcap ($20) that had fallen off during our last trip and they charged $91 in labor for supposedly repacking the bearing in the exposed hub. Anyone knows that a hubcap does not protect the hub bearing, but they tried to convince me otherwise. It took an argument with the Service Manager, who tried to manipulate my words, to get the charge dropped. I can't imagine how many people they get over on like this, but get away with it. Beware! All the plaques and awards and especially the Ethical code on their wall is for show. They will get no more of my business.
