Looking for inspiration about experiental learning activities for a large room-50-100 people with auditorium style seating.  Know it's a bit of a vague question. Thinking of a scavenger hunt around the room or pairing up activities but that seating issue is thwarting me a bit.

More context-this is a 45 minute orientation session for new hires.

"Microlearning as a challenge for instructional design"--almost goes back to the idea of learning objects. See the challenge as looking at the learning environment almost like a physical space (think museum) where people can wander and don't necessarily start for the same place or take in the whole of the exhibit.

I like the buffet approach to learning experiences....offer variety and let the learner choose what they need (of course you might suggest what a well-balanced diet could look like).

The interview game--

Interesting idea of allowing the learner to score answers vs the reverse

Not a bad template for taking a look at interactions during game play. Have you come across others?

My book recommendation for the day: Game Design Workshop by Tracey Fullerton.  Any books that have inspired you?
