Theo Komp (AKA Theofanis Kosmopoulos) was born in Greece. He grew up in a family where music was highly appreciated and he was exposed to a few talented musicians. He soon realised a profound interest for music. Over the years, he experimented with different kinds and aspects of music song writing, production, recording, sound design, mixing and mastering. One of his former productions which was a collaboration with his brother was featured in one of Greece’s leading TV channels ‘Mega Channel’ and on popular radio stations. He started producing music in 2006 and it was then when he enrolled in Berklee College of Music obtaining two certificates with excellent grades (Specialist Certificate in Producing Music with Ableton Live and Professional Cert. in Studio Production). At the same time, he combined studies in Business Administration and performances in various clubs across the mainland of Greece.
As well as hosting a radio show in ‘Radio DeeJay’ in Greece. Theo was a co-owner of a popular magazine in his hometown, Patrinorama magazine, and also studied towards a MA in Social Sciences. However, his passion for house music made him change direction and concentrated on what he knew and loved: producing music and Djing. In 2010, he arrived in London and is working as a Music Production tutor in a school.
He then met Dj Classic Wabaso and their keen interest in house music has led them to the creation of the outstanding “4speakers sake” project. Their talent has been acknowledged both in U.K. and Greece and their tracks and performances are attracting the attention of everyone who listens to them.
