I love this place and asked that my 50th Birthday dinner be held here. Reservations were made at least a month in advance for 18 people. They told us it would be on their enclosed patio that is heated. We were very concerned about the weather as May can be a hit or miss on cold weather. They assured us it would be fine. We got a confirmation email Friday 5/13 and then 5 hours before our reservation May 14th we got a mechanical recorded voicemail cancelling our reservations. When we called them back telling them we had people coming in from out of town, they told us they would get back to us. Hmmm, still waiting. We went some place else. Absolutely ruined our night and my birthday celebration!

May 2016 UPDATE! Because of the poor experience we had last year, the manager so kindly gave us free lunch certificated for our family to return. The service this time was superb. Ryan and Jacob were friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. They were accommodating to our toddler and newborn. Food was delicious and the service this round great. Because of that I am updating my review. Also, the duck was amazing..... May, 2015: My family and I went to the Melting Pot, Littleton for a very special birthday for my mother with a party of 6. We had terrible service. The wait staff hardly every showed up to check on us, we waited what seemed like forever for each course. After a main course, we waited so long for them to take our dessert order that the broth in the pot started burning and smoking. My sister had to go and get someone to turn off the burning plate, and take away our pots. The next "party" for that table arrived and we had just placed our dessert order and the manager asked us to get up and move, when we had just ordered dessert. He was unapologetic, however, offered to cover dessert, which he added to our bill then took off (which was already apart of the 4 courses we were charged for, therefore we didn't get any dessert off) We were then over charged for an additional bottle of wine, which I had to have them adjust. At $400.00, I expected amazing service, after moving to the bar, our waiter never even came back to apologize. I will not be visiting this location again, there are much better restaurants with better service at a fraction of the price.

Food is great, and it's a wonderful occasion eatery, but it's awfully pricy for me to want to eat here regularly. I'll be back, but there are other dining experiences I'd rather have for my money in he meantime

Definitely the most unique Melting Pot I have been to. It is located in an old library in downtown Littleton which gives a great ambiance. Service is fantastic and the food is always high quality.

Very dissapointed with how the evening turned out. The service was very slow and drawn out, I felt like we waited 20 min to get a drink. My brother was charged for a "Pick 3" when all he ordered was the raviolis. Then the waitress gave him the runaround by saying that he ordered the half and half ravioli which is why it was so expensive. SohHe was charged for something more expensive which he did not order, and then our waitress just lied about why she charged him what she did. Then we get to our car that valet had brought to us and as I was getting in my car the valet guy rudely said "Do you want change tonight?" Sarcastically jabbing me that I did not tip him. Unbelievably uncomfortable and disrespectful and I do not think I will be going back again.

Took the fiance out last night as a surprise dinner. Food was great service was great. Only thing I have to say is when I go to the restroom and see a chef in there not wash his hands after peeing made sick. When I informed the manager he really didn't have much to say nor was he sincere in his apology. Felt like he kind of brushed me off. Won't be back for a while just because of this.

My brother and I took my parents as a surprise for their 40th wedding anniversary and we were blown away at the attention that we got. They provided us complementary champagne to toast and they provided my parents with a special dessert as well at no charge! I'm SO impressed with the service we got!

Recently I was invited to The Melting Pot for a friend's birthday party. Now I would say I am a little bit picky about my fondue. I have been to Switzerland several times to visit my friends living there and had very authentic fondue. If you are looking for authentic fondue never go to The Melting Pot. The Melting Pot is the furthest thing from authentic fondue you will ever find. What the Melting Pot has managed to do is take a food that is a poor man's food and turn it into an overly expensive overly snobbish restaurant that should be charging very little but have instead charged exorbitant rates for poor man's food.
