I love my apartment and I been there almost a year! I am more in likely going to stay another year. I LOVE the staff, Signal 88 does a great job, and I have never had any major problems with neighbors. yes walls are a little thin, but that's apartment living. if I had any request for something to be fixed it was done with in a day or two :) as for these break ins people talk about, its going to happen anywhere you live, and I have not yet had a problem other than someone trying to get into my car, my alarm went off, but I called signal 88 and it never happened again. love the place love the location and love the facilities they have to offer. :) Everyone keeps to themselves for the most part.

Beautiful on the outside but DO NOT let this fool you. The apartment is extremely outdated. I regretting choosing to live here the day that i began moving in. It is extremely overpriced for what you get. The only bonus is the location. I had problems immediately. If I had someone stay over I would have a notice on my door saying there was an unaithorized tenant, even though that person had NO belongings over there. I had to break my lease early due to security reasons and the staff did not seem to care that I obviously did not feel safe living alone, for numerous reasons that had been brought to their attention. These apartments are greedy, money hungry, and I would advise everyone to stay away from them. You could find a much better staffed, more spacious, apartment complex more A LOT less than what you pay at Apple Creek.

I just recently moved out of this apartment complex and I am so happy about it. I hated living here. I only moved in because I knew it would be temporary while I looked for a permanent place and the location was convenient. Upon moving in we noticed a large (over 1 foot long) crack in the counter with a note saying a replacement counter top was on order. Many months later after moving out it still was never replaced. The apartments are not updated. Very old appliances, old fixtures, etc. The microwave will not fit a dinner plate, only a salad plate. The laundry room would not fit our standard washer and dryer so we could not close the door. This made doing laundry very loud and annoying. The refrigerator/freezer would not make ice. The walls are extremely thin and I could hear my neighbors above and below me easily. Our deadbolt would not lock and repeatedly needed to be repaired. Our A/C broke in the middle of the summer. The management is unorganized. The only time they seemed to be organized is after I moved out trying to collect a large sum of money to replace the carpet. I am fine replacing for a reasonable sum, but the ammount they were asking for the ammount of square footage is rediculous. I know they are profitting of off this. Avoid living here if possible! Also if you have a Sprint phone do not live here because there is no Sprint service in the apartment. Not AppleCreek's fault but still something to consider.

Apartment is old and worn and drafty.I spend more heating the small apartment than I did my 1600 sq ft house. Security sucks and my car was broken intro. Searching crime maps show that this is somewhat common, and management won't put up cameras because of the liability it puts on them, so crime doesn't stop. The only good thing about the apts is the fantastic staff and maintenance people. They are responsive and friendly. They are the only thing that keeps rental from being a horrible experience.

It's true that the interior decorating is out of date, especially in the kitchen. The bathroom fixtures and mirrors are old and somewhat corroded, but not extremely badly. These items are very cheap, and will be replaced by the staff on request. What they do not replace, you can replace yourself with inexpensive parts from Home Depot. The rent is cheap enough to justify a few dollars investment in a fixture or dimmer switch of your choosing. The floor layouts are comfortably spacious, as long as you don't crowd it with oversized furniture. The clubhouse is large, modern, has nice amenities, and is open day and night. The staff is in the office until 10pm. Only complaints: Buildings are somewhat close together, low rents are beginning to attract some undesirable tenants, and there is not a dog park - odd for a property with such a HUGE percentage of dog owners. I wish there was an outdoor pool, but then I chose this complex because of the indoor pool - a rare amenity in Omaha. Best features: Close to Oak View Mall and Theaters, Grocery Stores, a few nice restaurants, in a great school district, and easy access to Center and 144th Streets (in turn giving easy access to I-680 and Dodge Street). Grounds are neat and clean, and fairly well maintained. There is a tennis court nobody uses. My recommendations are to add a fenced in dog run area (there is plenty of space for that), and to raise the rents and/or the acceptance criteria. As Omaha becomes more modern, there will be an increasing trend toward upper-middle class dog-owning couples and young families. This could be the perfect place for them in West Omaha with just a few tweaks.

The staff are very professional, I really enjoy the ammenities, Maintenance is very swift and is very much like a family here, all our requests have always been answered in a very timely manner,, and the popcorn is a nice touch, staff know you by face and name, the only down fall is the outdated kitchen and the fact that when we first moved here the building that we were originally in was quiet now this one the neighbors are younger and noisy, otherwise will probably stay here til we buy a house. KUDOS!
