Overall nice restaurant. The lighting is a little weird, I got stuck under what felt like a heat lamp and they were unable to dim the light. The consensus of the table was the food was average, and a little pricey. The wait staff was very nice and knowledgable but I'm giving this a 3 because of the food taste/price ratio.

Whenever I am in seaport village, this is one of my favorite places to eat. I love looking at its wide windows while enjoying my lovely meal. For lunch, my usual is the Roy's ClassicTrio: Hibachi grilled salmon, macadamia nut mahi mahi & hawaiian style misoyako butterfish. I usually get the roasted macadamia nut crusted Mahi Mahi with lobster cream sauce for dinner. it is cooked to perfection. The service is excellent. The servers are friendly and attentive. The space is big enough to handle large crowds, but it isn't overwhelming. Tip: Sign up to be on their list, and get pretty good deals & discount offers.

Beautiful view of the marina at the Marriott. I met a client here for lunch and it was a very nice experience. The food is high-end but the atmosphere is not stuffy. Had a wonderfully creative meal. Also very friendly service.

My cousin showed me this restaurant during my stay in San Diego. This place sure was quite the treat. Everything was delicious starting from the appetizers all the way to the dessert. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here during their stay in San Diego. It's right by the pier also. All the waiters and waitress were talkative and make sure everyone at the table was having a good time. Even asked how our day was. Can't wait to come back again.

I have been to a handful of Roy's. If I'm asked what's my favorite restaurant...answer is always Roy's. Now with that said, it's sad I have to give this location a bad review. Of all the locations I have eaten at, this by far is my least favorite. I left here saying, "never again" and "can't wait to try the La Jolla location". The restaurant itself need a face lift. Not very Hawaiian if ya ask me. It looks like a 90's restaurant. The service was not so great either. Worst service I have ever received at a Roy's. Before going to a Roy's I know what I'm ordering. The food here wasn't that great either. I had the butterfish as always...the sauce was overpowering and didn't enjoy the fish as I normally do. Of course it still melted in my mouth but the flavor just wasn't there. I hated to do it but giving them 3 stars is a stretch. The 3rd star only comes because I am normally a huge Roy's fan!!!

I think this is the best location that Roy's has. Awesome waterfront views and good utilization of the indoor as well as outdoor space. The food is fresh and high quality. Definitely go for some sushi and/or fish when here. That's their main specialty. On a recent trip we shared the trio fish plate and we were very pleased with it. Just wish they had some beers on tap.

By the water whether you want a romantic evening by the bay under the stars or a beautiful change to enjoy the best of waterfront views...food is awesome and so is the service.

Visited San Diego for a short business trip and dropped by at Roy's for lunch. The prices are expensive so be prepared for that. The service though are top notch. I had a delicious meal of Hibachi style grilled salmon. Nicely done.
