HELP:

Now that +Google+ has enabled "Business Accounts" how do I merge this Personal Profile I created just for +Google+ with my (native & default Google Account) Profile I use with Google Apps (@revvenue.com)?

Any input from more regular Google+ Users? +Andrew Zammit +Lucas Shaffer +John Drew +Cary Hedges +Dean Mao +Bubba Stallcup

I've already merged my Google Accounts with Multiple Account Sign-In and I still don't see an option to merge Google+ Accounts.

This is one sweet office space.

This is definitely a weird twist to the standard office cubicle. Would you prefer one of these pods over a cubicle?

Add an HTML signature in your gmail account with this cool trick:
http://goo.gl/ADdt

Tip A: once you paste the HTML into a new mail message, resize the image inside the compose field to see the native sizes gmail will allow to reduce rastering of your images as much as possible.

Tip B: Use Google Labs' "Canned Responses" & "Inserting Images" to set up several signatures, and create rules for which contacts get which signature. Great if you have several work/school groups + family, etc.
Here's more on that specifically:
http://goo.gl/fZT9

Tip C: Still include the "--" before your signature, which is the universal signal to begin signature formatting in all e-mail clients. That way your signature won't be displayed as part of your e-mail message by some rogue e-mail client. (Probably Hotmail, hehe)

If you think it's worth your trouble, share your signature when you're done! :) Here's mine: http://www.revvenue.com/uploads/mysig.jpg

I'm happy with it, I'm going to try a few more ideas to get the rest of that rastering/distortion out of my logo though.

You can see the original logo before Google touched it here to see what I mean: http://www.revvenue.com/colat/logo_signature.jpg

And, here's the HTML I used for my signature to save you some time/work if you'd like to use it as a template:

<table border="0">

<tr valign="top">
<td><a href="http://www.revvenue.com"><img alt="Revvenue Performance Marketing" src="http://www.revvenue.com/colat/logo_signature.jpg" style="border:0pt none;margin:0px"></a><span style="font-size:small">&nbsp; <br>
</span></td>
<td style="text-align:left"><span style="font-size:medium;font-family:georgia,palatino"><b>Scot Smith</b></span><br>
<span style="font-size:small"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif">Founder &amp; Principle Consultant<br>
</span> <i><span style="font-family:georgia,serif">Revvenue Performance Marketing<span style="font-size:x-small">, </span></span></i><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;font-size:x-small">L.L.C</span></span><span style="font-size:small">.<br>

A great discussion was brought up over on +Shawn Collins' Stream: Now that Google+ is throwing an error when trying to connect with Yahoo! Mail for contact importing (the most simple way to import your Facebook contacts from FB to Y! to G+) it makes you ask, who does really own your contacts? Do you own your Facebook contacts because they've opted-in to your request or does Facebook own your connections and therefore have a right to stop you from exporting them (own them) because it is their platform the engaging is going on in? Either way, what makes it okay for Facebook to allow sharing capabilities with sites like Yahoo! Mail, but not with others like Google+?

well, Facebook owns the connection on their platform, so yeah, i could see it being a perfectly understandable move for them to make it as difficult as possible for the "new" social network taking over to "leach" contacts.

Great look at the 2 networks from a different perspective.

(Also a great way by +Mari Smith, tagging yourself as the "original sharer" of a story by using the raw URL and attributing the author with the + :P)

Great read!! A Facebook Developer's perspective on the post Google+ world, by +Chris Turitzin.

Is the Facebook monopoly over? Certainly seems that way in the next 6-12 months I'd say, particularly when G+ business profiles launch. Facebook will need to hone their agility even more. ;) [Uhm, and just for the record, I'm keeping both my Facebook profile and fan page active as usual. Facebook isn't going anywhere and will always be my first love. Lol!]

+Mari Smith Howdy, thanks for your comment. Sorry if this came off the wrong way, I wasn't trying to imply that you were intending to manipulate the system & I realize it may have been mis-communicated on my end. Seeing an attribution posted this way just sparked a quick brainstorming session on how the "Original Share" feature can be easily voided. By the way, I really enjoy following you and consuming your content :) Talk soon!

I have the Google+ Dedicated Browser Application (Google Chrome w/ Google+ as the start page, with my Google Personal Account logged in) since a) Google+ is blocking Google Accounts that are associated with "Business Apps Domains" and anytime I login with my @gmail.com username while having my @revvenue.com Google E-mail account open in a separate tab, randomly logs me out of one of the two. So, with all that being said-- I am the first Google+ Dedicated Browser Application user, jealous?

I'm not sure, but I hope not many others have to be so inconvenienced. Will be nice once this is fixed, and I might actually use Google+ a lot more on my mobile and on my desktop if it is...

I must say, I like how Google+ shares automatically the person who ORIGINALLY shared content on Google+, not the contact you just so happened to see it from. Cool!
