The South African National Roads Agency (Sanral) has come under fire for way in which the roadworks on the N2 between Plettenberg Bay and Hakerville have been managed over the past few months.

Not only have there been complaints about extended waiting periods at stop/ go control points, but also allegations of sub-standard work. Last year, there were also claims of motorists suffering abuse at the hands of workers.
