After three days trying to install linux on my ASUS T100TAF I am about ready to try this:
I got the Magic Stick 1.5 to boot. The actual installation, though didn't complete, and now it gets past the Ubuntu splash screen but gives me the following error: "The system is running in low-graphics mode. Your screen, graphics card, and input device settings could not be detected correctly. You will need to configure these yourself."
Hitting <OK> shows me a dialog box with four options, all of which I have tried, but nothing improves. Option 1: Try running with default graphical mode. Option 2 Reconfigure graphics Option 3 Trouble shoot the error Option 4 Exit to console login The last option hangs the system with this on the screen: "Starting ACPI event daemon.."
