You don't have to lift up the intake. I used the open end of a combo wrench, then tied a string to the closed side as a precaution if I dropped it. Removed the two rear bolts by flipping the wrench over to get better angles. Replace in reverse starting with the two rear bolts in place. The process of turning the two rear bolts is slow, but still much faster than removing the intake.
