A State Of Bliss - 09.04.2017
The past couple weeks have been very busy for #TeamBliss. We have updates on #BlissOS for the #PINE64, our website, and much much more. But first, a word from our sponsor.

Now on with the show! Starting off, we wanted to announce that our development team has been working hard to get Bliss on the Pinebook & Pine64 array of devices. We are happy to report that we have the first public beta builds ready for Pinebook and Pine64 owners to flash!! Now onto some question and answer time,
Q: Are you guys planning on an O release?
A: No, we're way past the planning stages and knee deep in development :)
We have started working on Bliss OS for Android O, and have been making some pretty steady progress. But I don't want to spoil any surprises, so I recommend you all just be patient and wait to see what we have when WE are ready ;) As always, we will be posting screenshots and maybe even some teaser videos too along the way. Stay Tuned!!
We have also made a few updates to our website, and the latest push includes our new team layout and our maintainer system. This will help everyone looking for their device maintainer or info to find it all in one easy place. Our new maintainer section will also allow us to help any Unofficial Bliss Maintainers by displaying their devices and contact info as well. There's a form from that section for them.

Things are moving forward, slowly but steadily with the nonprofit and Bliss Studios. Although our T-Shirt fundraiser wasn't a success, we are still determined to do the right thing and push forward with our intentions to bring the tools and services needed to develop successfully to the masses of people who want to learn, but cannot afford the tools. Giving them the tools to make their dreams come true, while stimulating innovation with a constant influx of open source projects.

A State of Bliss - 08/14/17
This week or so at Bliss has been pretty busy, but not in our usual way. We have a few of us who paired off into smaller groups and have been tackling a few tasks leading up to Android O. Calin (Nilac) has been working hard on a maintainers app for team use only, and has also paired up with Jack (Jackeagle) to work on the next iteration of the AboutBliss app. This is rethought a little, so expect something just a little different than our norm.
Our team of Graphic Designers have been kicking ass and taking names lately with all the different projects floating around the team, and we are starting to slowly get together a web development team too. The first stages of that is already live, but still in progress. Visit http://blissroms.com to check that out.
We have also been making some good progress on porting Bliss to the Pine64/Pinebook too this past couple weeks. We will update everyone once we have something worth showing on that front. For the Rock64, we also have Vaughn (rwaterspf1) and Henri (kanttii) tracking their development devices daily at this point, and they are both all geared up to tackle that bringup :) Along side that work, we have been updating our Bliss-x86 project to better hardware support for nVidia graphics, and have a number of kernel updates in the works to better support atom Bay Trail & Cherry Trail devices. Updates will be pushed to mesa, gralloc, kernel, and the rest very soon (they may have already started by the time you read this).
Our fundraising efforts have started off slower than we had hoped, but that doesnโt mean we are giving up hope on it just yet. We about a week left, and 6 different colors to choose from, so head on over to the fundraiser page and consider how much your contribution could mean to all those looking to learn to develop, but donโt have the needed resources to make the initial jump. In Bliss Family news, Desolation ROM has finally progressed enough in the development of their ROM to call it good enough, and release!! Donโt get me wrong though, you can tell they put a lot of work into the project, and if youโre a fan of dark style ROMs, or love all the Deso-goodness from past builds, this will be a welcomed ROM for sure :) Their initial devices so far Officially supported are Opoโs (minus onyx), V20's, Nexus 5x/6/6p/7, Redmi Note 4, Yu lettuce & tomato, and yes cheeseburger did make it in there with the opo's.
