Great ambience. Good food. Good value for money. We had lunch buffet. Seating is a little cramped but still worth it. They honored Google's 15% offer.

I heard lot of good reviews about this one and so bought a groupon to go here. It was a long wait so my hopes ran high but unfortunately- they were shattered. Food and service play the most important roles for me in a restaurant and these people lacked in both. The food was real mediocre and service horrible. My kid almost slept waiting for food. I would not recommend this place.

If you like EXTREMELY OVERPRICED Indian food and DRY MEAT, by all means Khyber Grill is where the party is at. We asked the waitress for their popular menu selections which included 3 pricier than usual entrees, rotis & naans. Here were some of the highlights of our dinner: For $12.00, you get the smallest Tandoori chicken leg & thigh ever cut up into 4 ridiculous pieces. But the worst part was how horribly DRY the meat was! If you have the nerve to charge $12 for a tiny chicken leg and thigh, at least make sure it's juicy and not dry like a piece of cardboard! Next, we had the lamb rogen josh which was very greasy and not seasoned well. On the menu, the Kyber Roti "is not to be missed"... we sure wished we did miss it because for $7.00 you get a dark pile of clashing spices and herbs on a dry roti that tasted terrible. And the final highlight which pretty much summed our dining experience here at Khyber Grill is the RUDE manager that couldn't care less about his customers. If you go in for a visit, notice how he almost refuses to answer you with a cordial, verbal response and instead, resorts to pointing his finger. Good restaurants deserve your hard earned money and patronage. KHYBER GRILL unfortunately does not.

Before we sat down and ate we walked out from the restaurant, As soon as we walked in restaurant, heard the Manager/Owner? screaming at a couple who were waiting to get seated and boy he was rude like he is doing his customers a favor! than he looked at me and said "what do you want"? I told him I want him to be courteous and turned around and left! I don't care if the food is good or not, attitude I was greeted as well as other patrons does not deserve my business! Oak Tree Road has a flood of good Indian Restaurants! They should be on Seinfield (Soup Nazi)!

I went there for the weekend buffet and here is my experience. First, they gave me a tea table ( which can hold only 2 corelle plates and a vase) despite saying we have a 1 year old and after waiting for 15 mins. These guys are money minded. They just want to make extra money, they do not care whether the customers are comfortable. I think they do not prefer south Indians because when they offered me the two seater table, i asked them it will be difficult for us to dine with a baby coz the baby will pull things and asked him if i can take the next table which had space for three. His response was, that's the only table "its your wish, if you want take it", if not wait for another 30 min... he says that table was reserved already. It was almost 2.00 PM and since i promised my wife and we were terribly hungry, i though its ok to dine. While we were waiting there was a north indian family who was waiting after us. THe moment we sat in the small table, he gave them that table which he said was reserved already. But the truth is, those north indian guys came after me. This was ridiculous and not a smart thing to do. South Indians pls make a note of this. My comments. 1. They advertise 11.95 for weekend buffet, but charged me 12.50. 2. They advertise 45 items, not sure how they are counting 45 items. 3. There was only 1 Non veg started. But the advertisement says 3 non veg. 3. there was only white rice ( jeera rice), but advertisement says 2 rice choices. 5. THere was only 1 chicken and 1 goad entree. But advertisement says 2 chicken and 1 goat. 6. There was 2 hot and 1 cold dessert. Advertisement says 2 hot and 2 cold. 7. No comments on veg entree's as i did not touch any of those. Some good things which i want to say as i dont like pointing only the BAD. 1. The Naan was good. 2. the kebab was good. 3. Jamun was good. The above three things, i could have got in any mediocre shop. Overall my mood was upset on a Sunday. Whatever, i would stay away from this restaurant. SOUTH INDIANS STAY ALERT!!!

Wow. What a great Indian restaurant. Ordered the vegetable pakoras, naan, chicken tikka masala, lamb rogan josh and mango lassi. All were delicious. Complimentary pappadam was the best I've ever had. Service was excellent at 7:30 on a Saturday night with a full dining room. Ambiance and decor felt thoroughly modern and interesting, a refreshing change of pace from the typical gold-plated trappings found at many Indian restaurants in the area. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

I ordered take out today the chicken makhni was $14 and it was a small portion the container was not even filled, and the taste was not good for that price. I also ordered a onion kulcha and the naan was not even cooked, plus it tasted horrible. I think they should improve there food portion as well as there food. I eat allot of Indian food and this place i would rate a 3/10. Rasoi in Edison is cheaper taste allot better and it has a extremely large take out portion. Just to give Khyber some advice Please make your portions better and your quality of your food. The one thing i did like was the Chicken Itself it was very flavorful.
