I've been trying to rip this new CD I got today into FLAC because lossy formats don't cut it for an audiophile. What programs do you use to rip or convert? So far EAC has been leaving me disappointed.

Yeah its really neat that it tells you what part of the song it messed up on lol I tried it on a different computer and it worked perfectly so I think it might be just my drive

Hey everyone. I'm going to be converting this guitar into a standard SG and I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME FIND A CHEAP CAVITY PLATE. If any of you could help me find one on the interwebs it'd be greatly appreciated thanks :)

NECKS! Bolt on, set, or neck thru. What's your choice and why?

No scientific methods were hsrmed in the development of this opinion. That's just what it is.
I mentioned that at the moment I have only bolted neck guitars. I just liked these better because of the playability, sound and overal feel. I dont like the shape and feel Les Paul necks. The Ibanez sz's I had were ok but not better than the rg or Jackson Dinky.
Sustain is also just one factor. I like the way some guitars sustain, but I also like the way the tone of my single coil Squier strat decays through a slightly overdriven tube amp.

Having a hard time taking out these nut things that hold the strings in, any advice?

Just finished installing an internal snare muffler, what kind of mufflers/ gel/tapes do you guys use to get rid of overtones?

I'd guess that it was because many pre-damped heads and damping products were developed....giving the drummer greater choice....or allowing the drum companies to sell more aftermarket products.....depending on how you look at it.

Got that orange drop goodness. What kinds of caps/values do you guys use/prefer? Do you think capacitors even make a tonal difference?

A little laugh for all you atheists out there :)
Christian comedian Tim Hawkins put together this little gem. I giggled through four minutes of EXTREME funnies. First, though, he starts with Sweet Home Allah-bama. I died!

Dr. Go is extremely welcoming and makes me feel as comfortable as possible. I've been to other dentists and they don't nearly have as many courtesies as giving you a pillow for your neck, putting vaseline on your lips when they get dry, and giving you sunglasses because the glare from the lights are bothersome. Definitely my favorite dentist highly recommended!
