Hey All,

We wanted to announce that starting today, we're rolling out a public beta to eligible devices that are enrolled in the Android Beta Program, including Pixel and Pixel XL, Nexus 5X, Nexus Player, and Pixel C devices. We're also preparing an update for Nexus 6P that we expect to release soon.

Android 7.1.2 is an incremental maintenance release focused on refinements, so it includes a number of bugfixes and optimizations, along with a small number of enhancements for carriers and users.

Feel free to check out the blog post for more information, and please continue to post about your feedback here. Thanks!

UPDATE: Jan 31 - The OTA is rolling out now and should reach all enrolled, eligible devices over the next few hours.

Hey Everyone,

We want to let you all know that the latest developer preview build (NPF10C), started to roll out last night. You will continue to receive these developer preview builds, as long as you are enrolled in the Android Beta Program. Please keep in mind that this is rolling out to Nexus 5X, 6P and Pixel C. It will not be rolling out to Nexus 6, 9 and the latest Pixel devices.

We will continue to monitor this community on a regular basis, so please continue to report any issues and feedback here in the Android Beta Program Community.

Thanks!

Hey Everyone,

First off, we'd like to thank you all for your tremendous feedback over the last few months. It has been extremely helpful, and many issues were discovered first in this community. Big shout out to all of you for that!

Today, and over the next few weeks, we will begin the rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat to Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Pixel C, Nexus Player, and General Mobile 4G (Android One) devices. You are all aware of the new features, but please take a look at the Android site for more information.

We will continue to post updates and information about future opportunities within the Android Beta Program here in this community. Please keep in mind that if your device remains opted in to the beta program, you will automatically get an OTA update to any future pre-release versions of Nougat maintenance releases as they become available.

Thanks!

Hey Everyone,

We wanted to announce that the OTA for Developer Preview 2 (DP2) will soon be rolling out to those devices that are enrolled in the program (more info here: https://developer.android.com/preview/support.html#dp2).

Thank you for continuing to report issues and feedback here in the Android Beta Program community. We monitor this area regularly and your feedback has been extremely helpful in contributing to fixes that went into DP2. There are a few specific things listed in the release notes, but keep in mind that performance-related issues are still to be expected.
