Love coming to Movie Tavern, whenever I go to Hilliard. Not the healthiest food in the world (lol), but it's great "movie food". Great service and cozy, comfortable atmosphere.

The food is mediocre at best and the theaters are getting a little run down. There tends to be more talking than usual during the showing because of food ordered and delivered. Between dinner and ticket prices it usually becomes an expensive evening out. On the positive side, they have retro movie nights and it's fun to see old movies on the big screen. The chicken sliders and salads are good choices on the menu.

I've been a customer here for a long time, even back before it was a Movie Tavern. It has improved SO much. Good selection of food, great service and lots of great movies. The office chairs aren't comfortable though!

The experience was just OK! This a GREAT concept but I think this location dropped the ball. It was a little outdated and could use some touches to make it a little more modern. The menus were worn and there were brooms and miscellaneous things lining the walls of the hallway. The chairs were very uncomfortable and service was mediocre. This was our first and possibly last visit.

One of my best friends brought me here to the movie tavern for my birthday years ago ,. I enjoyed it so much , I have brought my daughters , other family members & friends here for their birthdays , Now they have done the same , bringing their families & friends , This is one of our favorite places , .. We come often , It doesn't have to be a special occasion ,.. The movies are great , The service is too , We enjoy the different varieties of food , The buttered popcorn is delicious too , and you can have mixed drinks , beer , free refills on pop , You sit back , press your button light , & have waiters or waitresses take your orders , Five Stars is the highest you can give , in reality this establishment rates a Ten ,

MMMMMmmmmm... I like being able to hit a little switch on the table during a movie and have someone show up to get me another beer. Their food is above average and the seating is nice. My favorite is the Count of Monte Cristo, what a great combination of flavor!

First time at the Movie Taver on Friday. We chose to drive across town because it was getting late (22:00), we wanted to see the new Ridley Scott Martian movie, but hadn't eaten dinner. Two things that struck me: the place seemed well managed (friendly, capabale staff and clean theaters, restrooms) and the food was not overpriced. We had tastey wine and draft beer (Blue Moon, common domestics) at the lobby bar while waiting for our theater to be turned over. Our food was decent: we had the pulled pork burger with sweet potatoes fries, buffalo chicken wrap and a brownie sundae. None fantastic, but equal to say a TGIFridays or Chili's experience. One interesting difference were the seats-- office chairs! At least in our medium size theater room, there was a mix of traditional movie theater chairs in the back and the front, lower auditorium (non-stadium design) had rows of Office Depot style chairs with wheels and bar-like tables in front for your food and drink. My date thought they were weird, while I thought they didn't impact the viewing experience (they had arm rests and reclined to a relaxing position, though some did squeak). In fact, they're kind of innovative-- probably cost significantly less than traditional seating and, since they're mobile, makes cleaning much easier. Recommended and will return.

I didn't order any food, but I like the idea of being able to drink beer while watching a movie. The seating wasn't too bad, either, even though they were like executive computer chairs.
