~”BERRY” PACU~
A fun and different species to chase on fly is the Pacu. Lover of berries, fruits and insects, fly anglers can get creative “matching the hatch”. Look closely and you can see the green “berry” aka jewelry bead. I like using big plastic beads or cork indicators on a size 1 or 1/0 hook rigged on a 6wt rod and floating line. The pacu prowl under the overhanging branches of trees awaiting something delicious to fall from above. Sensitive to sound, they will come from afar when they hear the plop. The louder you can get your “berry” to plop, the better. This fish was no exception and hit with a vengeance @suindalodge Argentina.

Its summer here in New Zealand and I just started targeting kingfish with livebait. What a fantastic way of fishing it is.
Tight lines!

~CHIMEHUIN~
Nothing like catching fat browns on dry flies and streamers. @patagoniariverguides @petertreichel and I had a productive day floating the lower Chimehuin out of @nervous_waters Northern Patagonia Lodge. @theflyfishingnation thanks for capturing the moment.
