“In healthcare, there is a clear shift in consumption, and it’s mainly from a consumer we don’t hear a lot about: the aging consumer. There are a lot of attitudes of stereotypes, and they are still less well known,” Jaana Remes, an economist and partner at the McKinsey Global Institute, said at the event. “There is more equality, more diversity, they are more likely to be working later, more likely to be single, they are the most educated older generation yet, and they are much more likely to be tech savvy.”
What do the senior and aging care industry want from digital health innovators?

OPEN FOR REGISTRATIONS!
Frailty, namely a state of high vulnerability to low-power stressors leading older people to a higher risk of becoming disabled, is still a not well-defined concept. Over the past two decades, frailty has risen as one of the most innovative concepts in the field of Health and Social Sciences for older adults.
In order to contribute to the precise clarification of this quite undefined issue, a two-day Worshop titled “Frailty: A Societal Challenge in Need of Integrated Solutions” has been organized by Abbott and the Polytechnic University of Madrid and it will be held 27-28 October in Madrid.
