This is hands down the best barbecue I've ever eaten! When we first arrived there was a lengthy line to get in, but everyone we spoke to said it was worth the wait. I'm so glad we stayed. The food here is amazing, the atmosphere is friendly, and the staff are constantly checking to make sure you have everything you need.

Ribs are wonderful!!!! Backed beans have Avery nice 'twang'. Cold Slaw is different and good! Worth the price... And then some. Go early to avoid long lines. Choice of music is soo appropriate!!!

Amazing barbeque. The fritos pie was probably the only questionable order that I would suggest avoiding (unless you like fritos)

Ordered the #2 carryout combo, full rack of ribs, 1 lb. of meat (pulled pork) and two pints of sides (green beans, baked beans). The ribs were phenomenal, the pulled pork excellently smoky, the bbq sauce delightful and the sides were well executed.

Simply put, Pappy's is in the upper echelons of best BBQ in St. Louis, if not the country. I highly recommend the Ribs and the Burnt Ends are some of the best I've ever had. Get there early in case they run out of your favorites.

Sweet BBQ Jesus... I've died and gone to smokehouse heaven. I had the full rack ribs with sweet potato fries and fried corn. With their excellent 4 sauces I had a sinfully delightful lunch on my way back to NYC. If you're in the area, this is a must have. You will not regret it.

This place was legit. It lived up to the hype. For sure. You really can't go wrong with any of the meats, the brisket has more of a salt and pepper flavor profile then some other places I tried, and I loved it! You could really taste the beef. Whatever you get, make sure you get the sweet potato fries. I couldn't stop eating them!

I wish I could eat here all the time I don't live around here bit if I did this would be my go to bbq. The line looks long but they move quickly. I had ribs, sausage, corn, greenbeans and frito pie. The ribs were fall off the bone smoked to perfection so good that my mouth is watering just thinking about it the sausage is just the right amount of spicy and very flavorful. I don't usually like baked beans but I would eat them all the time if I didn't live half way across the country. I recommend going early in the day to insure that everything is available. LOVE THIS PLACE. the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is very friendly. If I ever make it back here I will definitely come here again.
