Trying out Adobe's Portfolio website. Haven't spent much time on it yet and haven't yet decided what I think. It's not as easy as it should be because—bizarre as this may seem—you can't upload images from Lightroom to Portfolio. I can upload images from Lightroom to Flickr. I can upload images from Lightroom to Format. But not to Adobe's own site.

Please note that my primary email address is changing, to wp@william-porter.COM. It's just like my old address, except that the old one was .net, and the new one is a regular .com. The website will be moving to the same URL — along with other changes and improvements.

Well, well. I finally got through Google's qualifying hoops and now I have a "custom url" for my Google Plus page: http://google.com/+WilliamPorter. I feel more important already.

When God gives you lemons, make lemonade. God bless this family — and best wishes to the daughter. Sounds like a wonderful family and there's a good guy out there somebody who will be lucky to find her.

Have to admit, this is very well done — and, in addition to being quite funny, there's probably a great deal of truth.

Recommendation for brides. I've been meaning to write this article myself for a good while and now I don't need to. My only complaint: The title is a bit misleading. Ask me any of these questions, I'll be more than happy to tell you the answer. Well, an answer. Anyway, read the article.

Here's my promise to all my future brides: I will never use a drone (or anything remotely resembling a drone) to fly around you and your fiancee/husband to take photos.
