With a major tournament approaching, I've had to speed up my painting process in order to have a painted army.

These guys have all been kicked out this week, a major rush for me, focusing just on getting them base coated and roughly shaded, so they look decent on the table.

I'll revisit them after the tournament to finish them properly.

8 models to go before I leave on Wednesday.

Pics from our local group meetup last night. The terrain makes photography really fun.

Minis aren't finished, but ill never let that keep me from playing.

So I put together this insert today for Mansions of Madness.

This is the first edition box holding all of the tokens, dice, and cards from 2nd edition, and the room tiles from 2nd edition, 1st edition core set, and both boxed expansions.

I'm designing a separate insert for all of the miniatures that will go into the second edition box.

I've designed this to allow for possible future expansions in all compartments.

Wasn't quite sure about this one, but initial impression of Mansions of Madness second edition is very good.

I NEVER play games solo, but decided to play solo today just to learn the game. It was very fun and more immersive than I anticipated it would be.

A main concern of mine was the app would pull too much attention away from the tabletop. That was not the case, and it did an excellent job of replacing the Keeper player, complete with all the flavorful text from attack cards and mythos cards, etc.

Very happy with this purchase.
