The models in the iPad Pro series are intended to be used as both tablets and laptops, which is why there’s a version of the Apple Smart Keyboard for the new 9.7-inch version. Should you pay $149 to get one?

If someone is going to put up with the extra bulk that comes with a rugged case, having one loaded with extra features is a real bonus. The Kensington BlackBelt 2nd Degree Rugged Case can not only protect an iPad or Surface Pro 4 from drops, it also includes a multi-position kickstand and a strap, which makes the computer easier to lug around.

Read my review:
This Kensington BlackBelt 2nd Degree review tests a highly protective case with versions for the Surface Pro 4, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, and iPad mini.

I installed Google's developer preview for the next version of Android on a Nexus 9 and used it for several days. There are many new features coming, including split-screen multitasking, and here are my thoughts on all the big ones:

Those in the market for a very portable computer should consider a 2-in-1 tablet/laptop like the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S or 12.9-Inch Apple iPad Pro. One runs Windows 10 and the other iOS, but they have similar designs and price points, and they target the same customers.

I wrote a comparison intended to help businesspeople and prosumers choose which is the best option for them. Please give it a read, and share with your friends if you find it interesting:

Two-in-one PCs serve double duty as both notebooks and tablets and are growing in popularity, especially among business people and prosumers. The newest high-profile entry in this market is the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S 2-in-1, which runs Windows 10 on an Intel Core m3 processor, sports a 12-inch Super AMOLED display, and comes bundled with a keyboard.

Read the results of all my testing of this computer:

A mobile keyboard should easy to type on without being too bulky to conveniently carry around. The iClever Portable Bluetooth Keyboard (IC-BK03) starts about as small as a mobile phone, but unfolds to be nearly the size of a laptop’s keyboard. Read my full review of this accessory for Android, iOS, and Windows:
This iClever Portable Bluetooth Keyboard review tests an accessory that starts about the size of a phone but opens to be a nearly full-size keyboard.

Most of us travel with both a tablet and a phone, but few people want to carry two chargers. iClever has a solution for this: this company’s BoostCube offers dual USB ports that can handle a pair of mobile devices, even two tablets.
