"We packed our own lunch in the car, so I don't know about the food prices at GP."
"The snack bar doesn't offer much in the way of food either."
"Great ski area to bring family and friends, best in Wisconsin in my opinion."

Wonderfull ski runs and terrain parks, they make a lot of snow and have three high speed lifts. Great from beginner to experienced, BUT the lift tickets are very quite expensive. In my opinion it is worth it if you stay there the whole day, but most people don't stay the whole day so maybe offer a cheaper lift pass for a shorter hill time like 3 or 4 hours. Great place, I love it here! Totally recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to ski or is experienced.

Nice runs... but prices are a JOKE!! This is Wisconsin, not Aspen. I've been all over the country and for the Midwest I'd drive the 1.5 hrs north and ski any slope in upper Michigan for cheaper rates and way better hills/snow. Good luck

Overpriced- almost $200 for a two day lift ticket! Then we get up the hill to learn that a lot of the runs are closed, and a few lifts aren't even running. As other reviewers noted, Granite Peak has terrible food at sky high prices, very very low quality. A little ball jar of regular domestic beer for $9. Yikes. Several sources put granite peak ski area at 600' vertical, while their website puts it at 700'... Hmmmmm The number of runs granite peak claims they have is dramatically inflated, they count every little crossover and change the names of the runs half way down. Several times we encountered untrained or undertrained staff at Granite Peak , it seemed like nobody really knew what they were doing , from the food preparation and service to the bar to the lift operators and everywhere in between, I'm sorry but these people are ruining this place, I used to love it but I don't think I'll be back. Within a couple/few hours of this place are several better places to go. I suggest doing more research and reading reviews of other ski areas before booking your trip, as Granite Peak is overrated and overpriced

Way over priced for what they have to offer. Snow is always crap. Not worth $100 a day to snowboard on a "big hill".

Snowboarded at granite peak in 2015, Had a blast but probably won't be back for a long time because of the four hour drive. BUT it is very nice even though it seems plenty expensive. Definitely a good place to visit! Keep up the good work!!!! Ps. Food is the same as usual, would be awesome if the taste would be as quality as the price

Great place to visit. I've enjoyed the slopes and I've enjoyed weddings here. It's a very nice and historic/rustic place.

For experienced snowboarders and skiers this place has everything you need. Though it could use some more runs that are geared toward beginners. My little sister has trouble with everything but the few short green runs.

In my opinion it is the best ski resort in the state of Wisconsin, with so many runs and a magical atmosphere, what's not to love about Granite Peak?
