Its now time to announce the winners of the August challenge: One!

Who knew such an open ended theme could produce so many awesome images! Brett and I had a difficult time choosing our favorites, but we came up with a few images that each seamed to represent a branch of the concept of One. And because there are so many wonderful images, and LEGO was so generous in gifting us so many UniKitties - there are plenty to go around!

Our Grand Prize Winner!

Nick's (+LEGO Wiiman) image struck Brett and I as simplicity at its finest. The single mini figure walking down the long, hot and dusty road. It doesn't get lonelier than that. Plus if you know Nick, you know he is a one of a kind, a true original. Congrats Nick!

The Honorable Mentions!

First Up is +Julie Blair's image Its not easy being green was one of the first images out of the gate, and I think it set the bar very high. Her image, while being a bonanza of beautiful bokeh, put a nice twist on the topic and set the tone for the rest of the month. Nicely done Julie!

Next we have the super fun image by +Ang Cheng Ann - The Chosen Ones . Sunny is known for his clever intellectual property mash-ups and this image told the story of "one" so well. Three characters chosen to go on an epic quest for fame and fortune (whether they wanted it or not). Truly a great reflection of the concept of One.

Next up is +Doug Gary's super cool mini figure mash-up. What a character you created Doug! I want to know what adventures he /she goes on! Plus its a beautiful and inspired reflection image!

One of the silliest images to be entered into the contest was by +Dave DeBaeremaeker! The image of the pink and tutu wearing storm trooper is one for our contest hall of fame. Nice work as always Dave!

And last but certainly not least is the wonderfully edited image of Thanos by +Jon Jansen Campos A truly inspired interpretation of the hero / villain of the Marvel multi-verse.

Thank you everyone who entered this months challenge! There were so many wonderful images to see and you made us all think about the nature and meaning behind such a simple word: One.

Jina runs the school for the Chima Clan. She's a well respected teacher with an inquisitive mind and strong leadership skills. She's a firm believer that knowledge is as essential for every warriors training as the battle lessons given by Einar. Jina's favorite book is The Art of War by Sun Tzu.
