Very good restaurant, it is a chain that I wish would come to Tulsa! It has a large menu with tons of choices, the main emphasis is on American food and their deep dish pizzas. Also true to their name they have many choices of beers and ales. My favorite is the Berry Burst Cider.. yum! It has a sports bar feel especially at the bar which has a bank of big screen TVs behind it. Great place to go for game day. Oh and their dessert menu features the Pazookie, a large baked cookie topped with ice cream. Delicious! Highly recommended you stop here for a nice meal if you are traveling and don't have a BJ's in your area.

I came in a couple of days ago with a few of my buddies. Everything was great! The woman that greeted us was very polite and got us in the system quickly. No complaints there. A short guy with brown hair and a button up and khakis came walking over (I assume he is the manager since his clothing was out of place) and started yelling at the girl that we just talked to. I was in shock!!! Now, I've never managed a restaurant before but I do not think the time to chew your employees out is right in front of customers. I should have gotten the guy's name but I was in so much shock. The food was great and our server Linsey was fantastic. What made this whole experience sour was the way I saw management treat their employees. Absolutely awful.

I went there with two friends we walked in at about 10:26pm, we waited at the door for about 5 minutes to end up having to seat ourselves. Not only did we seat ourselves, we waited at a table for about 10/13 minutes before the manager came over being passive aggressive with menus saying "oh we didn't see you guys sit there." we were very simple and ordered just dessert. My friends mini cookie cake, or whatever their fancy little name is for it had bacon in it, now I will say they did bring out a full sized one because of the issue. But when we were finishing eating and signing the tab our waitress Tara came over and said "can I have that ticket, I'm really trying to get out of here." I've stayed hours late at jobs to help customers. I think that was probably the most unprofessional thing I've ever had someone say to me while I was at their place of employment being helped. I have never had such horrible service. Sad to say it was my first and will definitely be my last visit to the BJ's in Norman.

First time in Oklahoma City, came from St Louis the side of the tryout this place due to its name. Found out this is above fantastic from Service to appearance to taste everything was seamlessly sewn together in this perfectly orchestrated meal. Trying to give words to describe the taste that hit my mouth and my girlfriends was beyond amazing. The drinks where amazing they were perfectly blended the food was done at a professional level. Everything was handmade and you can tell. I had no problems giving a larger tip than normal due to the excellent service that was presented towards me and my girlfriend. I highly recommend this place to anybody who visits or is a local. This place has our 5 star approval and then some.

If you read the reviews below about "Tara," I can attest that they were left by servers at another restaurant who are angry because a third server transferred. Just ignore those. Anyway, the food is pretty good. HOWEVER, they apparently can't decide whether they take reservations or not, and they definitely don't know how to do so. Because of the conflicting information in previous reviews, I called ahead to find out whether we could get a reservation for our group of 10 for my birthday. I was told that we could. When we got there and I gave them my name, we were told that the wait was 20-30 minutes. I thought there must be a misunderstanding, and so I explained that we actually had a reservation under that name. The hostess looked at me like I was an idiot and said, "Uh, yeah, like I said, 20-30 minutes. We have to wait for people to leave and clear up tables." (For the record, all but one person in our group were members of my GRADUATE school department at OU, so this was highly embarrassing.) Irritated, I said, "Then why did I make a reservation?" She responded, very rudely, "So we knew you were coming? It isn't like that means we have a table waiting for you." Actually, sweetie, that's EXACTLY what a reservation is supposed to mean. Thankfully, we ended up waiting less than 20 minutes, but it was unnecessary stress on my birthday. Everything was delicious, and I still like their food, but I will never try to eat here with a group again.

HORRIBLE ! Tara was the worse server in the world ! She was very very rude, she rushed us out because she said "she's trying to get out here". There was BACON in our ice cream. We also had to seat ourself last night. I highly advice no one ever go to this location because the staff is rude and service is terrible. Will never go back to this location nor sit in TARA's section

Whole dish was dry. Got the Maui porkchop with steamed veg (green beans) that were bland and rubbery and 3 small roasted red potatoes. Steak wasnt cooked right, so when they re-cooked all the seasoned mustve came off so it was bland...also the "steamed" broccoli wasnt even close to steamed. Cold, dry and hard. On the plus side, waitress for the most part was courteous and nice. Told manager about problems. Won't be coming back.
