Hi Ste and Ash, great to see someone else is crazy enough to paint Normans! Brett and I play SAGA regularly with a variety of factions each, so if you guys fancy catching up for a game day some time drop me a line.

Nice one Ste. I played a little bit of X-Wing with Aneke, although spaceships are a bit harder sell to a 9 year old girl! We started out without any upgrades, with a view to adding more complexity as we went, but haven't played it in a long time. We play a lot of board and card games though, and they are great for helping to shape a decent human being. May the force be with you! :-)

Nice work Ste. I thought those shields were fancy decals at first look, very smartly done!

Nice work, the Yanks can certainly pack a punch! I guess the "curse of the newly painted model" cancelled out the "curse of the bright tactical idea" this time :-) Lovely looking table too.

Having recently decided to give my terrain collection a bit of an overhaul and splashing out on some new buildings, I've found myself in "need" of a few other things. Now that I have a village of some twenty dwellings, there is a sudden demand in the linea...

AAR: Panzers vs Rangers in MW Cauldron
I got together with Brett yesterday afternoon for a game to try and finalise our lists for Call To Arms in a couple of weeks time. It's MW 1500 points, and I'm looking to make my competitive debut with Germans (and stop banging my head against the Soviet w...

Incoming! Nebelwerfer platoon finished
The long put-off nebelwerfer platoon is finally done and dusted. I'd been avoiding this lot as gun teams combine the assembly of a tank with the painting and basing of infantry. What fun! Having said that, gun teams can be some of the most attractive model...

Flak Panzer 38t's
After three or four weeks away from the painting table, I've finally found my way back! My first task was to finish up these three Flak Panzer 38t's. As the name would suggest, they are built on the chassis of the Czech made 38t, and will provide some mobi...

Panzerschreck Army Pics
As promised, here's a look at the majority of the armies on display at this year's tournament, I have to say, the standard of painting was very high this year. My own motley collection of Soviets didn't score any points, which was probably a factor in our ...
