Agreed +Wallace Roberts. +Tina Walker, it's probably to distract your eyes from the dent high on the tank on the clutch side. Dent is awfully high for it to have been a low side. Makes you wonder what other kind of damage there is.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good gps real time tracking smartphone app?For Android phone.(Google Play app store)Something I can share with others as I ride.Maybe even marks each stop....and of course free or affordable.I've tried a couple but really didn't like them.
So any suggestions?

Ok I'd like to hear some opinions.I've seen every episode of The Devil's Ride on Discovery Channel from the beginning.I've always made jokes about it,because it really seems like a daytime soap on two wheels.I've even tweeted Jason Hervey, the producer and also some of the members(actors?)kind of joking how it seems so out there to be real.I get the usual insulting tweets back. Now being the guy who lives 2 miles from where they film Amish Mafia, which I know is highly embellished.I've tweeted my disappointment to both the producer and Discovery channel on it's failure to create a real and true and accurate documentary on Lancaster County PA and the Amish people.
Anyways, in  The Devil's Ride, if you haven't seen it,the two rival clubs(not 1%er clubs)basically have a beef that started with using the same colors. In the new season, they've ramped it up, and Fuzzy, a leader of a "well known and huge 1%er club" has told them they need to get their shit together in 30 days or they are taking all of their cuts.Because they are giving a negative light to the motorcycle community
In the latest two episodes, there have been kidnappings, fights, even beatings with baseball bats....In the previous season, Sin Mob dragged the prospect's of Laughing Devil's motorcycle around a parking lot...this motorcycle was obviously an older Honda. Not a Harley. Was it a coincidence that he had some beater bike there that night?Or was it staged but they didn't have the budget to destroy a Harley?
How real is this? Why would anyone assault, kidnap, steal bikes, while being filmed for national tv...unless it's a scripted tv show and they are paid actors? Why would a leader of a well known 1%er club be seen on a national tv show?A tv show that looks like adults acting like kids in the playground when one took another's toy?
I don't know much about clubs, and I'd never join one,I don't have the ambition to be that loyal to a club.I know +Tina Walker has written a few times about her Dad and his club in her blog.So I'd like ot hear your opinion and anyone else's about this tv show.
I know this was long, sorry,I'm just curious because some of these reality shows are so ridiculous.I drive a semitruck and just about every show about that subject is freakin laughable,I watch purely for the ridiculousness of it.

+Tina Walker That's what I said about Amish Mafia,I live here, they film in my area in Lancaster PA,but it is such bullshit. The people on the show are Amish, but the rest is all made up.On the show, they've blown up amish buggies, just stupid stuff that in my whole leife of living, and working with Amish people,I have never seen or heard of happening. It's so fake, with just a very small grain of truth.
Discovery channel has gone down hill. I've tweeted some of those bikers and the producer from Devil's Ride and have gotten into the makings of an argument, about the logistics of what happens on film, for a national tv show, and if it was real, they'd be needing a lawyer, nobody wants anything that could get them arrested or murdered to be seen on tv by millions. At least I wouldn't think anyone would.....In this season, a high ranking member of a "large 1% club" has given the two clubs an ultimatum. Now they never say the name of the "huge 1%er club" but I think you're supposed to know........I've quit tweeting them into arguments just in case it's taken too seriously, but occasionally I throw one out once in a while to call out the bullshit. It is entertaining though, not as much as Sons Of Anarchy
...Now I've read books about Hell's Angels, and the author had hung around with them by permission for research, but she didn't use real names.

This is a local story. The crap that is always in the roads after a winter like gravel and salt is always something I'm wary of.My township also fills potholes with loose gravel ( or whatever it is) every spring. It eventually gets packed down but for a while it's like someone dropped a pile of stones.
Also oil slicks.I once almost got caught in a diesel spill from a truck that left the fuel tank open by accident.
Be safe!

The article implies that excessive speed was also a contributer to this crash. Still, quite sad for his family and friends.

Rode to work today for the first time in a long while due to cold/snow. 45* at 430am.
Also think I'm going to try the Iron Butt ride in May.Going to try to do both 1000 in 24 hours and 1500 in 36 hours, same trip.My turn around point would be Antique Archeology's Nashville TN store. .(History channel's American Pickers)786 miles.
Lauren, the woman who manages that store, bought a vintage jacket from me and I figured this is the opportunity rather than just shipping it.

On the heels of Sons of Anarchy and Devil's Ride, comes yet another television series in the documentary form that focuses on the "the biker" lifestyle.  Based on the description, it seems to focus on the "bad boy" Harley/Cruiser subculture...

I haven't seen television in over 20 years (yes, I know - weird, heard it many times before) but if it increases interest in real riders it could be good.
Don't waste your time watching the trailer, half on it was about another program and the rest was the unnatural revving of a motorcycle engine. :) brrrm, brrrm, brrrrm, brrrm Who does that? :)
