This is our church. This is our year so far. This is our testimony to the manifold mercies of God towards us in Jesus Christ, who is our Cornerstone and Ebenezer through the seasons.

"Samuel then took a large stone and placed it between the towns of Mizpah and Jeshanah. He named it Ebenezer (which means 'the stone of help'), for he said, 'Up to this point the LORD has helped us!'" — 1 Samuel 7:12

The lesson of Ananias and Sapphira: The danger we put ourselves in, when our devotion to the Lord is built on a life of keeping up appearance rather than a truly captured heart. ‪#‎greaterthings‬

Heaven holds no parties for cripples who walk. It holds no parties for blind people who are allowed to see, or for cancer remission or mended bones. But the Bible tells us that "there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:10)

It is entirely appropriate to pray for miracles, but let's never forget that the greatest miracle that God would ever work is in your heart. ‪#‎greaterthings

We started a new sermons series titled “Greater Things.” You can listen to this introduction to get ready for this coming Sunday's message.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” - Jesus (John 14:14)

“Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God, but let us not come with any patronising nonsense about his being a great human teacher.” - C. S. Lewis

The nearness of God is incomparably better than the temporal prosperity of the wicked.
