App Sneak Peek:

Here's a search result sneak peek. Of course the data would be for different people so the image isn't the same. That image is from W#Schools.com.

The interface is used in search results, profiles admin and other places where profile cards are a part of the display.

When the card is hovered the person;s personal quote will display as an overlay over half the card. When a mouse out occurs, the personal quote disappears.

The First and Last name on the sneak peek is showing a place holder to show how max of 15 characters will display.

The top is a check to select, a match with flame and then the percentage that represents how much that user matches the search criterion and a flag button to report any hanky-panky business.

A simple way to add the cookie consent for your site.

Copy the code below.

The JavaScript can go into it's own file. Notice that jQuery remove method is used to remove the consent box once the cookie has been set. The Javascript remove function doesn't work for all browsers. If you are using Bootstrap 3+ then you will have a jQuery library that have this method.

The bootstrap cookie consent text can be easily edited to whatever you're doing with Bootstrap or another UI library.

There is all kinds of code out there but, this is quick, easy to understand, serves the purpose and under your control not others.

So many businesses are on every social channel without understanding if their core audience is there. I see it all the time.

There are a ton of social platforms. They range from “everybody’s-on-it” to “bright, shiny and new.”

So I get why people might fail to pick the right social sites for their business.

But there’s actually big drawbacks to having an active presence on too many social media platforms. You can find yourself:

Spreading the brand too thin, or doing too much poorly.
Overcommitting resources to low-ROI channels.
Missing opportunities in high-ROI channels.

To avoid this, it’s the marketer’s responsibility to analyze each channel ....
