Been in since May and everything has been great so far. Sarah and the rest of the staff are very helpful and nice. The maintenance staff is also on top of things and will address work orders the day of most of the time. The website portal is easy and efficient. Also not too long ago I accidentally dropped a bag with my wallet and phone in it around the parking lot without noticing. Just when I thought all hope was lost the very next day they called to let me know they had found it and with everything intact. The only thing I recommend they improve is the trash system in that there is just one compactor for the whole complex. Apart from that I am happy where I'm staying. I can see there are some negative reviews but I think they are really trying to change things around.

Multiple vehicles have been keyed at this location (including my own) dating back since 10/9/16 with the most recent event being not even an entire week ago from today's date, Walton county has to patrol this area frequently but to no avail. When asked if the company who owns Terra Mar will install security cameras, the leasing office will tell you no and shrug their shoulders. Technically it's not the leasing office's fault but you'd think after all the vandalism they'd make a bigger case to their owners. Not going to happen. JRK is extremely irresponsible. I've been here for TWO YEARS so I'm pretty sure this post is here because of unbiased/absolute knowledge of the situation. I'm leaving soon to move into my first home off 395 and pray I never have to deal with the $1,700 rent for a tiny two bedroom ever again nor hear about a maintence man poking his head into the gym JUST TO SAY HELLO EVERY SINGLE MORNING while friends of mine who are women are working out in the gym. It's awkward and always the super old guy with gray hair doing it from what I'm told by numerous women. My advice? Look into buying a home, folks. Do NOT live here. Secondly, there is finally an alternative to Terra Mar! It's called the Lofts of Seacrest Beach! Way better for what you get! Google it & see for yourself! Don't risk moving in Terra Mar.

Just finished negotiations for my 3rd years lease. Yes I said third year. That taken into account. I must be happy here and I am. Great Location to all surrounding activities. Great Staff from the maintenance team to the folks in the office. All pleasant to deal with. Some days more pleasant than others but that is to be expected. I just want to say thank you to each of them that take the time to listen even when busy. I hope to continue to be able to call this home. I Suggest a longer lease period be offered for those that want to stay for years(Until Death). Can't wait till all the renovations are completed and it can get back to the quiet, pleasant ,peaceful place we know it is intended to be. Big Thanks To Area Manager Shelly Denise Marlin for all her and her staff put up with and still smile.

When I moved into TerraMar over two years ago I was moving from out of state. I had never seen the apartment complex but was happy with how the complex and my apartment looked when I first moved in. Sarah was great with helping to make the move in process very smooth. After living there for over two years I really have only good things to say about TerraMar. The staff are friendly and helpful and the maintance guys are very quick with any small issues we had over the years. The location is also amazing since we are just outside of the craziness of Destin but only a short drive away. I also loved being right across the street from Topsail State park and 30A, and two minutes from Sandestin. I have waited to write a review until we actually moved out of the apartment complex because I was not sure how the deposit return process would go. I am very happy to say that I got all most all of my money back. They only charged me $25 to clean the oven (which I cleaned to the best of my ability but I know it still had stains in it). The office even provided me with a small sample of paint so that I could touch up the walls to avoid a painting fee coming out of my deposit. I received my check today and felt I should share my experience. Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt. If you are a reasonable person, they are very reasonable to work with. I miss my Santa Rosa Beach home!

The maintenance guys are very rude and creepy and you can't avoid them because they live here. They blatantly stare at my fiancee which makes her very uncomfortable and violated. All of our female friends in the apartment complex have felt the same way about Harold and his minions at one point or another. These guys are unprofessional and disrespectful. When they come around for maintenance, they knock and burst through the door within seconds. They give no time for the renter to respond or even react. They are abusing their privileges to satisfy their perverse nature. And, the front desk staff is indifferent to any complaints about their behavior. Probably because one of the girls were dating one of the maintenance guys at one point. It's only a matter of time before there will be a newspaper story about this slumlord behaviour.

I just moved in to TerraMar about a month ago and love all of the things they have added. Even though I had to still deal with a little construction while moving was well worth the wait. The game room is amazing and now I am just waiting to enjoy some wine at our first party in the poker room. The girls in the office have been great and easy to get moved in. I met the maintenance guys and they seem great! If you are looking to move to the area you need to check them out. It is the best!

My experience was excellent, the staff was amazing, especially Shelly marlin who was a great help in locating a new home for me and my children. The new club house was beautiful my family and I can't wait to swim in the pool when the weather warms up
