"When Accolade went looking for new office space, the first building it looked at was 660 West Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting. Brandywine Realty Trust had finished renovating the building and put in a large game room, deli, fitness area and conference room that the tenants could share. "Everything we looked at paled in comparison for location and amenities," said the executive vice president of Accolade. By 2030, millennials will make up 75 percent of the workforce, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics."

For many years, Brandywine Realty Trust has made an unequivocal commitment to a particularly vital locale—the King of Prussia market. Positive economic development and sustained job growth coupled with the energy surrounding SEPTA’s proposed Norristown High Speed Line extension indicate that the transformation of King of Prussia is underway.

Long considered a traditional suburban community, King of Prussia is fast becoming Greater Philadelphia’s signature, 21st Century “edge city” – much like Tysons Corner in Metropolitan Washington, D.C.

SEPTA has scheduled a series of Public Workshops on 3/25 for the King of Prussia Rail Project. The project is evaluating alternatives to provide increased transit service to the King of Prussia area. The project need stems from deficiencies in area transit services that result in long travel times, delays due to roadway congestion, and transfers between services. In addition, there are many destinations in the King of Prussia/ Valley Forge area that are underserved or currently not served by public transit.

“Washington, D.C.'s new transportation system will revitalize the local economy.”
D.C. is getting an overhaul in infrastructure. The Silver Line, a new Metro line the city had been anticipating for the last few years, opened Phase 1 in July; it reaches out to Reston, Virginia, where many commuters live. Phase 1 will clear up a good amount of the car congestion, but it will also give the economy a boost. Phase 2 is anticipated to arrive in 2018, and will connect the capital to Dulles International Airport.
Follow Brandywine Realty Trust in Metro D.C., where many of our transit-oriented Class-A properties are strategically located along Metro’s new Silver Line corridor - from McLean to Dulles.

King of Prussia's Economic Outlook 2015, presented by the King of Prussia Business Improvement District and Brandywine Realty Trust, is April 7th, 2015.
