I'm a freelance writer/editor and teacher. I've worked for major national magazines from Playboy to Modern Maturity, started two regional business journals and three city magazines. Now focused on technology, science, and business, but also film criticism, film festival coverage, food writing, nutrition, and life style articles on a wide variety of topics.
Published the book, "Lasers, Lightwave of the Future" in 1982, was a contract writer for OMNI magazine's Continuum pages and have work in 2 OMNI anthologies, published science fiction stories, and can occasionally be found at SF conventions.
I'm fond of cats, ice cream, and Ozu (the Japanese director). I collect (and write about) movie memorabilia, particularly Anne Bancroft, John Sayles, Robert Altman, Woody Allen and anything to do with aliens on earth (although I'm a skeptic).
I play blues harmonica, do a few good magic tricks, juggle a bit, and dance better than the average bear, in more ways than one.
