In what could prove to be a major breakthrough in quantum memory storage and information processing, German researchers have frozen the fastest thing in the universe: light. And they did so for a record-breaking one minute. It sounds weird and it is. The reason for wanting to hold light in its ...

It should be a mandate that an amount equal to what has been spent on war and weapons of war be utilized to give soldiers who have lost limbs the first opportunity to be made "whole" again and improve their quality of life.

Yeah, weirder still to still feel a limb that isn't there... this would really help with that.

So now there interested. Hopefully Ubuntu will not cut a deal with them since it seems they are becoming the public face of Linux.

Of course, getting something that's OS-agnostic in the web world means browser agnostic and I'm guessing you need IE for the best experience. At least by some definition of "best".

Went in to attempt to sit in and eat. Ordered food and as soon as I picked up my fork, heard a noise to my left, looked up and saw a rat the size of my foot behind the food counter in the back!!! And yes I have video.

God awful service and incompetent supervisory staff. Called and asked if penny arcade was available for daughter to cash in piggy bank. Told sure. Spend $8 cab only to find both units not working and an unapologetic supervisor. Exactly why I closed my account several years ago.

The worst. Unprofessional staff with virtually no knowledge of the hardware they give out or receive. Every question is answered with a hard sell for more Timewarner services. The counter clerks act as if they are doing you a favor when they finally ask you to come their window, after spending 2-3 minutes chatting umongst themselves after each interaction. This location is the real time equivalent to a SNL skit. I swear I wish Fios was available in my area. After 20 plus years as a loyal customer I 've had enough.
