•Critical Water Shortage and Boil Water Advisory for all residents of     Estill County
•Please only use water for necessities.
•Any water for consumption needs to be boiled at a rolling boil for 3 minutes.
•Approximately 2,000 households without water at this time.
•Divers are in the river at this time assessing the situation at the water plant.
•A water distribution center will be opened from 1pm-8pm at the Estill County Fair Barn.
•Only those without water may pick-up water at the distribution center at this time.

The BOIL WATER ADVISORY has been lifted for all IMU and Estill County Water District customers.

Another cold night is on its way. Boil Water Advisory and Critical Water Shortage still in effect. Please continue to conserve as much water as possible. I know everyone needs to do laundry and dishes, but please be patient. The tanks have to have a sufficient amount of water before testing can be done. The more water we conserve the faster that testing can take place. You can pick-up drinking water at the Estill Co. Fair Barn until 8pm tonight. We will be back tomorrow morning from 9am-1pm. There will be no distribution on Sunday. As of 4pm today we have distributed about 6,800 gallons of water to residents.
