Four key populations of Hammerhead sharks are now listed under the #Endangered Species Act. It's a step in the right direction but there's still much work to be done. Help us protect sharks and rays in peril: http://ow.ly/yOwxb #SaveSharks - Photo via seawatch.org

Protecting Our Ocean Planet - One Dive at a Time℠
Introduction
Project AWARE Foundation is a growing movement of scuba divers protecting the ocean planet – one dive at a time.

Calling all divers! Join the global movement of divers protecting the Ocean planet. We’re focusing in on two major ocean issues – Sharks in Peril and Marine Debris. Truly, there are many conservation issues converging on our ocean planet at once, but we’re concentrating on these serious problems where scuba divers are uniquely positioned to directly and positively affect real, long-term change in these two areas. If you're interested in taking action to protect the ocean planet - JOIN US!

Project AWARE empowers thousands of divers in more than 180 countries to work together for a clean, healthy and abundant ocean planet. Project AWARE Foundation is a registered non-profit organization.
