This #EndangeredSpeciesDay, May 15, consider participating in a #MyOceanChallenge to help Project AWARE tackle two of the biggest challenges faced by our ocean: marine debris and over-exploitation of sharks and rays. http://bit.ly/EndangeredSpeciesDay2015

Divers’ voices play a key role in advocating for the protection of at-risk and endangered marine wildlife. Today we celebrate the actions taken by an individual to protect one of the vulnerable creatures of the deep - the awe-inspiring manta rays. http://bit.ly/1IBbp1m Photo credit: Steve Woods

The Olympics are coming. Brazil has not complied with its obligations; The Bay of Guanabara this unclean. It is not necessary to dive. Trash this floating. At least if contagious and serious diseases. A postcard beautiful in the picture. A disgrace to the naked eye. Authorities lie. The community accepts. The nature groans for help. In www.diversforsharks.com.br, there is a map, painted red. Indicates the high index of shark killing. My Brazil is a shame.

Project AWARE empowers thousands of divers in more than 180 countries to work together for a clean, healthy and abundant ocean planet. Project AWARE Foundation is a registered non-profit organization.
