They have an amazing selection and really work with you to get you a good deal. The doctor is very friendly and nice. My buddy JR Stroh (who was visiting from Knoxville) hooked me up so I could afford new glasses plus sunglasses and a warranty. Good looking out JR!!

I had a great experience. I have been there twice in the last two years, both times I received great customer service, Dr Levy is friendly, funny and takes general interest in you. The person helping me with my order was able to negotiate the price of the lenses i wanted and got my bill with in my budget. Both times I was there the team was able to get the cost lenses where I needed them. The only issue I have is they advertise 2 for $69 but the frame selection is very limited, almost purposefully to force you to select different frames. However, if you take them up on their BOGO free offer you can find nice frames for $69, you then have to pay$ 69 for the lenses for the first pair of glasses. Then they apply an eye exam credit to the cost of your glasses. that means if you go in thinking you are only going to spend $69 bucks for two pair of glasses, its a little misleading. You are really going to spend about 95 bucks for two pair and the eye exam.

Every time I go in they are prompt to greet me and I usually don't wait long before seeing the doctor. Even when I do have to wait the staff is polite and we usually have a nice conversation. The doctor remembers me each time I come in and makes me feel like he is actually paying attention to me, as apposed to just trying to crank through as many patients as he can in one day. Once it was time to pick out frames they dealt with my indecision and even helped me pick out 2 pairs that I LOVE! And ordering contacts with them is absolutely painless. so simple. I was very skeptical at using a "chain" optometrist. I didn't want to lose the personal touches of a small "mom and pop" establishment. So glad I chose Stanton.

Pro - easy to get appointment, even on very short term notice. Wait time was short Con - Tkes a a long time to receive glasses. I see someone said a lot of place take a long time...sure I agree. I got a "stamp" with the guaranteed date for my glasses and she told me I will likely get it before that date. But nope, I STILL DON'T have them. When your guaranteed time is already 2 weeks, it's not very nice to make someone who CANNOT see, to wait any longer. When calling about glasses, employees do not care at all about your :guarantee". I called twice, the first guy sounded annoyed with me that I said I need them. The girl, I believe her name is Kaitlyn, was more willing to help. Let's seen if I will ever get my classes. Selection was not great either. Seem to have a lot of frames, but generally all are the same. The deal was bogus. I spent 110 on just lenses when my frame was covered by insurance. Signs says buy one get one free, girl in store says buy one get one half off. The doctor was really hard to understand. Overall: Will never return. Service is ok, but empty promises are misleading and lead to a lot of inconveniences. Just tell me it takes 3 weeks and I will plan accordingly.Don't get snobby when I point out that you lied either.

I went to the Beavercreek store on October 28, 2014 to get an eye exam and glasses. I was really impressed with the doctor and looked forward to having new glasses, a pair of bifocals and a pair of reading glasses. That good feeling soon turned into a horrible experience of which I never could have imagined. I was told the turn around time would be two weeks and they would call when they came in. The first indication of trouble was when I never received a call after the two week of wait time. After almost three weeks of waiting, I called the store (they didn't call me) and found out they were ready to be picked up. I went to the store to have them fitted, but neither of the two pair were of the correct prescription. They finally agreed to have them remade, but would be another two weeks turnaround. Having received no call after another three weeks of wait time, I called and was told one pair was in, and they would call when the other pair arrived in a day or so. After another week of waiting and no call, I was tiring of the whole situation and requested a refund. The manager said he wasn't authorized to issue refunds and I would have to call customer service. Customer service said they didn't issue refunds as that was left up to the store manager. By this time my blood pressure was near peaking, but not yet. I finally got in touch with someone who pretended like she cared about a customer and was offered a $100 store credit, some cash, and I could keep the glasses. Being a fairly logical person, I could never see me going back to the store to spend the $100 store credit after the experience I'd had with them, and the money was only a fraction of what I had written them checks for, and there was some doubt about the correctness of the lenses as I had not tried them out. I refused the offer and again requested a full refund. The person said she would have to get higher authorization in order to do that, and promised to call me within 24 hours. You guessed it. Twenty four hours came and went with no phone call. Having still not heard squat from them, on December 12, 2014, I sent an email via the "Contact Us" link on the company's main website. In the email I explained in great detail my experience with the store. Five days later I got a phone call from the local store manager saying they were going to refund all my money except the money for the exam. This was also unacceptable as I think Stanton Optical is responsible for refunding that money as well. In the end, I finally got a partial refund on January 21, 2015. That was almost three months after I first went to their store. Bottom line: if you need glasses don't go to Stanton Optical unless you enjoy hassles and run-arounds.

I picked up my glasses today after waiting only 2.5 weeks. The doctor was extremely friendly, and the staff, although extremely preoccupied because they were heavily understaffed, were overall very pleasant and helpful. Hopefully, next time, they will have more staff present to take care of the many people taking advantage of a truly good value. Two pairs and an exam for only $80, and that's with the hard style lens option on one of the pairs, that comes with a 2 year warranty.

Definitely some of the worst customer service I've ever received! We were led to believe the glasses would be mailed, but four weeks later we ended up having to pick them up. The saleswoman was extremely rude. She mentioned that the manager was a poor communicator and if he said they would be shipped there was nothing she could do about it now. She also implied that because the prescription lenses were not that strong, the delay was not that big of a deal. Frankly, she just acted like we were wasting her time. I will never go back to Stanton Optical!
