Speaking of bees, here's a kindergarten reenactment of the waggle dance that worker bees do to communication the distance and direction of water, pollen sources, and possible new hive locations. Fun to watch the little ones hack the code and learn about the way bees share information through movement! +Debra Pagona +Rebecca Bulvanoski and others who work with younger kids might like to do this too!

Researchers at NCSU discover that cloned pigs (with the same DNA) act and look differently like traditionally bred animals . So if DNA is our "code," how do we account for this variation how that code is expressed? Is code too simplistic of a word for what really happens in the making of life?
