Mediocre food at best. The "baked" potato is actually steamed, not baked. I believe it's actually microwaved. It tasted like it had been microwaved. The breading on the fish was soggy. Either the fish wasn't completely dry before breading, or the oil was old and possibly not hot enough. I wouldn't eat here again.

We have been there many times and had great meals, however, Saturday night we went for dinner at 6 pm and ther was only 4 other people at tables. Not Busy. We each had a seafood platter and it was discustingly poor. Breaded fish was soggy and mushey and the shrimp and scallops were cold. sent mine back as did my wife and the just nuked the meal to get it hot, not good. Now we know why there were only 4 people in the main dinning room. It will be a long time before we spend our time to go back as there ar a lot better places to go eat and cheaper as well.

I live in Greenville and my husband and I go to the Winter Inn a lot. I even had my wedding shower in one of their banquet rooms and have attended other showers here. The food is great, price is right! The dining room is a very different atmosphere than the bar area. I ate in there once when I had a newborn so to keep her away from the smoke. Other than that we always eat in the bar area. Very fun atmosphere there (pool, keno, peanuts, stuffed animals). The bar is a very neat area that makes you feel like downtown GR. When my parents are in town it's the only place they like to go. They even stayed the night once in the hotel and we checked out that area too. Very neat. Would recommend to any friend/family!
