Went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner last night. When we arrived it took about 5-10 minutes to be seated. Mind you there was nobody in-front of us when we arrived. As we are being seated there were plenty of empty booths. Seems like poor manager skills. The table was still wet from someone cleaning it off. The silverware looked as if it was quickly washed as I still had some piece of food dried on to my fork. We ordered our food and just as we were finishing our bread our food arrived. Great timing and the food was hot. So this made it all better until I started eating. I ordered the Californian steak and cheese and my girlfriend ordered the smokehouse burger. Her burger was great, cooked perfect only complaint was the bottom bun was soggy and fell apart no big deal. My cheese steak on the other hand was not so great. One half was a cheese steak the other half was a cheese, pepper and onion. You get more meat in a 6" sub from subway for a 3rd the price. Overall the experience was sub par to other cheesecake factories. The waitress was decent, very quick on refiling our drinks but also very quick with taking our order and bringing us our check. I would feel safe assuming the manager is all about turning tables fast and it clearly shows in his employees. Almost a ok you're done eating great now get up. Our total time there was maybe 25-30 minutes.

Food was good as expected. The servers seem to just do their job. Also better not come in a rush, service is kinda slow. The atmosphere is good and relaxing.

Always my favorite place to go, whenever I visit a metropolitan city. Their original New York Cheesecake is the best of the best. However, if the price could be tuned down a little bit, it would be perfect.

This is my worst Cheesecake Factory experience ever. The 45+ minute wait wasn't so bad, but when we heard the delay was because they had run out of flatware we were left shaking our heads. When we were seated, the disappointment began. They were out of the dark wheat bread - there went my factory burger. My chicken parmesan sandwich was okay, but it took 30 minutes to get it. My sister's Santa Fe salad had chicken chunks (that was fine) and one large, thin slab of chicken in it (looked like fish) and no avocado. Only my brother-in-law liked his meal, spicy cashew chicken.

I have eaten at the Cheesecake factory many times. I normally order the appetizers, but have on occasion eaten a meal. My experience with the food is what can be expected, average. The customer service for the most part was also average. The parking for the restaurant is not very good if one wants to compare to free parking in fashion valley. However, you are downtown SD and parking is a premium ; I don't know of any restaurant that offers free parking. Thus, overall the Cheesecake Factory in my opinion is a 3/1/2 star. Keep in mind they don't have specialty Chef's at chain restaurants. If they did I could give a higher rating, and the price would be higher. The CHEESECAKE IS DELICIOUS AND THIS IS THEIR SPECIALITY.

We've had a really bad experience with this Cheesecake Factory. My husband and I went with a group of people. We were waiting for almost 45 minute to get seated when we got seated my plate was dirty. Also some of the people in are group complained about the forks and spoons being dirty as well. We complained to the manager and the manager was arguing with us about the staff not being dirty, but the plate and the forks and spoons were obviously dirty. The manager took the plate and the forks and spoons and brought us new ones. We got are appateziers and are plates and everything was good until my husband found a metal in his mash potatoes. It was a really big metal. It was grouse and disgusting. No one could eat anymore and when we called the manager he was like I'm sorry but these things happen and I don't know what to say..... Really bad costumer service!!!

Worst cheesecake experience. The host sat me at a booth that was soaking wet. Pants got soaked. Neither the host nor restaurant staff seemed to care. Didn't even get a towel to dry my pants off. Avoid this location. Other cheesecakes are operated better. Terrible. Just plain terrible. Is it that hard to show you care that a guest sat down in a booth that was soaking wet?
