This is the only restaurant in the south valley. Everything else is a chain or your typical fast food. The chef here prepares amazing food and I am always satisfied when I go here. It is more expensive than other places around but that is to be expected to match the quality of food. Do yourself a favor and visit this place.

Food was excellent I had the rib eye and it was cooked to my very high expectations. The presentation alone wows you. The live music sets the mood and the attentive service makes you feel presidential. Did not feel rushed to finish my experience and leave. instead we could enjoy the music and relax a long while before asked if we wanted our check. The location is the only thing I would say that hinders this place. It a strip mall kind of feel with surrounding stores like JC Penney. I wouldn't judge to place however solely on this. its not a deal breaker.. but a place like this should be downtown or in park city. the food.. is excellent. price is okay.. $30 for Ribeye. Wine list is average your house merlots Pior's etc.. nothing extraordinary. I just got a beer. .(Spaten) which is always crisp and refreshing.

The pork belly started was to die for and everything else was delicious. This is New York City standard food in Utah.

The Wild Rose is easily the best restaurant in the South of the Salt Lake Valley. I eat out frequently (for work meetings), and since I live in West Jordan have gotten used to driving downtown for fine dining. Since discovering the Wild Rose, I've gone there many times, and each time have enjoyed a fantastic meal, with spot-on food. The chef is brilliant, all I can say -- the flavor profiles are not overly complex, yet perfectly executed. You have to try the compound butter that comes with the bread, simply delicious. The beef tenderloin is amazing, yet I keep being tempted with new entrees. The other night they had a beef wellington special that was both incredibly delicious but fantastically homey.

One of my favorite restaurants at the south end of the valley. The food is excellent and the service has always been great. I try something new every time, and have never been disappointed.

Entire menu is fabulous… My wife and I have eaten at the Wild rose several times (I've tried 90% of the menu). Truthfully it's the only restaurant we've been to (repeatedly) where we've never had a complaint. The reason for this review, however, is not for the consistent food and service. 3 words…. Beef Wellington baby! Holy crap, this was one of the best things I've ever ordered in my life (not exaggerating). Advise this was a special (not on the menu)… Before this meal this was my wife and I's "secret gateway". We would tell friends how much we love the place but never invite them (wanted it just for ourselves). But I ruined it. After 2 glasses of wine and the wellington (1 of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my entire life) I took pictures of the food and texted our inner circle. Consequently I now have commitments to all my friends to take then there. Oh well, the secret getaway was fun while it was lasted. We’re going back tonight with my folks. “Please God, let the special be the beef wellington”.
