Second time I'm sharing this, but it's an excellent read for any designers - especially those who 'try their hand at web'

I think this picture tells a thousand words... does anybody genuinely believe what they read on Wikipedia?

Having done 'battle' on a number of occasions with dubious editors, this came as no shock. Supplying a link to a far greater content page on a client's site - with no sale call-to-actions - and yet the link was removed. The argument that the other site was 'not e-commerce' was a blatant lie, and the fact that the content on the page was incorrect was 'irrelevant'.

Wikipedia is not a charity, but that is a rant for another day...
Investigation follows reports that Wiki-PR scored Viacom, Priceline as clients.

I think this is a cleaner, or errand boy... but good to see women willing to degrade themselves.

This is an interesting survey from Matt Cutts and the web spam team - http://www.seroundtable.com/google-small-site-survey-17295.html - if not intended to rank specific sites higher, then perhaps we will be able to see what sites should rank higher according to public opinion.

My latest blog post has just gone live http://www.changinghorizon.co.uk/blog/reasons-not-to-have-a-company-blog/ looking at the reasons and excuses given by various clients that didn't see the benefits of blogging as a business.

I'd love to know if I've missed any, or the best excuses you've ever heard.

Dragged from the archives of +Buffer but this is an interesting article on how your office environment can influence productivity.

Would be good to see comparable figures to see how long it takes for increased productivity to pay for LED lighting... might look into that one myself. http://blog.bufferapp.com/the-science-of-how-room-temperature-and-lighting-affects-our-productivity

This is atrocious, for a two primary pieces of 'journalistic' bollocks:

http://www.in-cumbria.com/advertising-guru-to-speak-at-cumbria-awards-1.1081174#.Uh9Yiw6SQNY.twitter

1. Guru - but I see no beads, beards, or robes...
2. '...no stranger to Cumbria, having been born in Lancaster' - forgive me if my geography fails me, but surely Lancaster is an integral city in Lancashire. Proximity does not equate to 'friends'. I live next door to strangers.
