There's only one word to describe Russ Moon: Brilliance. Russ delivers the goods. Not only is his clinical, and technical knowledge beyond compare, he breaks down the critical components of the work into bite size pieces that anyone can understand. Whether you are training for a marathon, getting ready for the next Iron Man competition, or even if you have hit a wall, and are recovering from injuries, or health related problems (like me) Moon's work can and will revolutionize the way you workout, move, live, and breathe. Trust me when I tell you, you can change your life. Breathe will show you how. Furthermore, if you ever luck into getting into one of his stellar workshops, better hold on to your hat because life is about to change. Mine did! I don't give flattering reviews lightly. The fitness challenge is a life and death endeavor in my life. I'm not in it for vanity, I'm in it for my health, and my remarkable recovery. You too, will have a story to tell after you have read Russ's book, and experienced his brand of training. Like me, you will want to share that story with the world! Get ready...Breathe!

During my academic studies after the requisite courses that are required for a degree in your major normally you have a tiny bit of wiggle room to flavor your experience by choosing from a list of “electives”. Courses which are somewhat related to your major but are not considered core courses ...

A simple way to get things done. It doesn't have to be complicated to work.
That phrase could have many different meanings to different people. I didn't invent Rest-Pause and I don't know who did. I don't care who did, all I know is there are many variations of this concept that come in handy for me. The first version I encountered was Mike Mentzer's version in his ...

Times flies when you are getting your tail stomped into the ground. I have been in a two week, self-induced Armageddon of 2 t-shirt practices that were averaging 1.45 hrs each. As Led Zeppelin communicates on their Presence recording “Nobody's Fault but Mine”. Reminded me of the time my freshmen ...

I like the book, alot. Enough to start working way through trying different techniques to see how they impact my body. Sequence is significant. Sequence – when you do the work and the order in which you do the work. When you do the work – Learned this the hard way, the earlier in the day you ...

You reach the summit, then what ?  You can walk down off the mountain or stay hanging from the ledge until you fall off.
Once upon a time I did not deload. I thought it was soft and I should charge ahead….until my motor exploded. I was wrong…….so very wrong….but that is why you expose yourself to people who know, you always study and you learn the things you can only learn by doing the work yourself.

My father was an all-conference defensive tackle at VA Tech, 6'3″ 250 back in the 50's. He peaked his military press out at 270 lbs. A big guy who spent a great deal of my childhood tempering my brain. I remember as a grade school football player him having a serious discussion with me.

This is where you literally vanish and become one with the sounds in the gym. The music varies, when it is good I listen to it, when it is not I tune it all the way out. There is very little talk, just plates clanking on and off the bars. Everyone is in their zone, yet at the same time aware ...
