Abu Dhabi was not the best weekend for Toro Rosso. Pierre had a very good start, he moved himself into 13th position and he improved throughout the race, showing good pace which could have brought him to finish in 10th position. Unfortunately, a few laps before the end he had to retire due to an issue we need to investigate further. This was Pierre's last race with us, he showed fantastic cooperation during the year and he improved a lot, showing he deserves his place in Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.

An emotional weekend for the whole McLaren team as we bid farewell to Fernando and Stoffel for the final time in Formula 1. Stoffel put in a valiant effort to keep chasing cars behind him, and crossed the line in 14th place. Fernando executed a solid one-stop strategy and battled through the pack in his customary style to finish just shy of the top 10 in 11th position.
Despite just missing out on a final points-scoring result for the season, the team has secured sixth place in the Constructors’ Championship.

Max was cruelly denied what looked an almost certain Brazilian Grand Prix win when he was taken whilst leading the race at Interlagos by Racing Point Force India’s Esteban Ocon. Daniel, meanwhile, put in a brilliant, battling performance to rise from P11 on the grid to claim fourth place, his best ever finish at the São Paulo circuit.

Williams - Sergey Sirotkin finished 16th and Lance Stroll 18th in the Brazilian Grand Prix. Both cars started the race on the soft compound Pirelli tire, with Sergey 14th and Lance 19th on the grid. Sergey made his first and only pitstop for the medium tire on Lap 16. Lance pitted a lap later, again for the medium tire and made his second and final stop on lap 65 for the supersoft tire

Both cars finished the race, but our package wasn't quick enough to finish in the points and we were unable to make the most of Gasly's ninth place grid position. On behalf of Honda, I offer our congratulations to Mercedes on winning the Constructors' title today.

Daniel Ricciardo charged to his third Formula 1 pole position after edging out Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen by the slender margin of 0.026s in qualifying for the Mexican Grand Prix on Saturday. Lewis Hamilton will start third, but crucially is ahead of title rival Sebastian Vettel, who starts fourth.
Valtteri Bottas and Kimi Raikkonen took fifth and sixth for Mercedes and Ferrari respectively, both having failed to match their teammates for pace.
Renault finished as the best of the rest with Nico Hulkenberg and Carlos Sainz Jr. finishing seventh and eighth. The duo were trailed by the Sauber pair of Charles Leclerc and Marcus Ericsson, who delivered the team its second double Q3 result of the season.

What a race: from P20 to P9 for Brendon Hartley! Taking into consideration we had to start from the back of the grid, we ended up with a good result by finishing ninth. Brendon had a good race as he saved the tyres and defended his position well against Ericsson. Pierre went straight at Turn 5 on the first lap to prevent a collision with the cars that crashed in front of him, and unfortunately damaged the floor.

Max Verstappen delivered a stunning drive to second from 18th place on the grid at the United States Grand Prix, as Ferrari’s Kimi Räikkönen took his first win in five years at the Circuit of the Americas. There was heartbreak, though, for Daniel, with the Honey Badger being forced to retire early in the race with an electrical issue.
