Meet the RTS family:
The Run To Succeed family is proud to welcome Erik Folkerts to the team as our new Event Timer. We look forward to working with Erik and he will be a great asset to the RTS family!

Erik Folkerts is a student in SIU Carbondale’s College of Business working towards a Bachelor of Accountancy. Erik came from up near St. Louis and lives with three roommates and their dog. Erik met Tim during the 2015 River to River relay where their team finished (unofficially due to sever weather) under the qualifying time.

Erik first came in contact with Run To Succeed while planning his run “Paws for a Cause 5K” which will benefit a service dog training club at SIU. He started running after high school for fun. He has participated in several 5Ks: including his favorite the Rocky Ledges 5K. A ten miler: Evansville River Run. And, the River to River Relay. Erik hopes to one day do the Disney World Dopey Challenge, and dreams of the Boston Marathon.
