This is a great place to take a kid - or a kid at heart.
It's a large store, so there are some amazing builds done by the staff, including an amazing dragon.
One of the complaints I have about Lego lately is that there are fewer and fewer (are there any left?) "generic" sets of blocks, where you build from your imagination. Everything today seems to be a specific project.
With that said, a Lego Deathstar is amazing. :)
Amazing little museum/store of everything Lego, I wish it were a bit bigger but there's only so much Lego in the world! Still one of the biggest stores I've been to nonetheless. Worth a stop if you're already in Rockefeller Center!
Very crowded but so worth it for kids of all ages! There are a lot of cool Lego sculptures. The employees are awesome!
This is one of the only places where you can buy Legos by the container.
Definitely worth the stop!
I have never seen a Lego store like this one. This store is the largest Lego store I have seen. Also, it offers sculptures of 30 Rock and other NYC buildings made completely out of Legos! I loved the selection of Legos. I was a little disappointed to learn that there were no NYC-specific Legos at this location.
V friendly and knowledgeable staff (some of them) ...but it's surprisingly small in terms of options. Def has what is popular and in. Full range but not lots of options within each category. Worth a visit if ur there
